eeeehhh I am sure you are right about the Titan board, but I will always say if there is a guy you want go up and get him.

    2 in 17 bites I agree

as usual it all depends on how Conklin turns out.

Different drafts though. Every draft has different strengths and weaknesses. He has also been compared to Bryan Bulaga who was a 1st round pick.

He has already been working on his footwork with a legendary O line coach during the offseason. He was my 3rd OT but after him it dropped off drastically for me. I promise you Tennessee was not the only team very high on Jack. Multiple media guys have said it too

I like that, and I agree at certain positions if you like guys who make big differences and are playmakers if they are worth it to you, make the trade. However this trade is so bad if you look at the trade chart!

Titans give up: 15, 76, 2017 second round
    Browns give up: 8

    Browns give up 1400 points
    Titans give up 1840 points.

the difference in points is equivalent to the 46th overall pick to put it in perspective. we got spanked. for a right tackle

It's not that we want a lot of picks. We don't want to unnecessarily give them up. Moving from #15 to #8 should have taken a swap and #45. We got bamboozled.

    Good pick up.

As for the question above on why we want a lot of picks. The team has a lot of holes. And the picks they do have are enriched in the lower round where you find talent that can make a difference. That would be why I would want a lot of picks. As for what they gave up to get Conklin, I don't think Robinson has done anything yet(Maybe other than taking the job on the grounds that he accepts Mularkey will be the head coach) to make us distrust him. If Conklin is the real deal and a force. The trade ain't a bad one.

Football games are won and lost by draft points ! I just love all you experts. The Browns didn't bamboozle anyone they took a Baylor WR who can't catch with their pick. The Titans are doing just fine.

It's to put it in perspective, otherwise why don't we just trade next years first for a guy in the 7th "who we love"....

Football games are won on the line, but if you have a crappy team like ours, with lots of holes in it you save up the picks and use them on multiple holes, not just focus on one.

I think we were too focused on trying to fix our line and avoided the big picture, which shows that we need help everywhere else as well. I'm not upset that we addressed offensive tackle, that was one of our needs. But we aren't in the position as a team to try and focus on one need and give up a high pick in order to hit one need.
