Defense all the way tomorrow. Man, the talent remaining is awesome. We really benefited from the run on tackles, receivers and QBs.

    My wish list:

    Kendall Fuller/Xavien Howard
    Jarran Reed/Ashawn Robinson
    Noah Spence

Actually, I would be really happy with Sterling Shepard too.

Jrob must be hyped for this 2nd round!

    #33 - Kendall Fuller (CB)

This has to be the next pick, dude is a ball hawk and super quick, looks like he'd do anything to break up the pass. Much better than Alexander.

    #43 - Von Bell (S)

Another Ball Hawk with plenty of INTs to his name, some one-handed. Just YouTube his highlights and you'll understand.

    #45 - Reggie Ragland (MLB)

Probably won't even make it pass #40 but would be great to have. A lot of dudes can be picked here, but no injured guys please.

    Why not Myles Jack (LB)?

High Risk, High Reward. Jack recently admitted to only having about 3-4 years in the tank and possibly surgery in the near future. One twist of his knee and dude is done.

Unfortunately, we won't be SB ready for another 2-3 years. Jack likely won't last that long therefore doesn't help in the long term. If he's still there in the 4th I'd be ok with him.

    Why not Jaylon Smith (LB)

Catastrophic knee injury, won't even play in 2016. Worth a late 4th at most at this point.

    Pick #33
A'shawn Robinson- this guy is going to be the leader of our defense. We need a physical specimen up front similar to what Haynesworth was. I like the scouting report on this guy also saying he was the boss man in the locker room holding players accountable. That sounds like Jon and Mike's guy.

    Pick 43
Mackenzie Alexander- we need talent and regardless of how you want to interpret his lack of INT's he is still a big upgrade to what we have now and he has the potential to be a ball hawk.

    Pick 45
Hunter Henry- heck why not give Mariota another weapon to open up the passing attack. I don't see a WR making a bigger impact

My perfect 2nd round would be...
    Robinson, Alexander and Hunter Henry.

We need at least 2 defensive players IMO out of these next 3 picks.
Other players that would be acceptable Derrick Henry, Vonn Bell, Sterling Shepard, Billings and if Spence is there at 43...

Looking at players we have brought in for a visit or met with and Hunter Henry is not one of them. But we have brought in Hooper.

Other standouts that are expected to be selected early today are...
    • Emmanuel Ogbah, DE/3-4OLB, Oklahoma State (PRI)
    • Xavien Howard, CB, Baylor (PRI)
    • Derrick Henry
    • Kamalei Correa, OLB/3-4OLB, Boise State (PRO)
    • Kenneth Dixon, RB, Louisiana Tech (WOR)
    • Kendall Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech (PRI)
    • Vonn Bell, S, Ohio State (WOR)
    • Mackensie Alexander, CB, Clemson (STM)
    • Jonathan Bullard, DE/DT/3-4DE, Florida (PRO)
Our next few picks are more than likely coming from this group of guys!

I want Ragland, DT, and corner in those first three. Ragland seems to fit the smash mouth throwback players we want. If we don't pick him at 33, were taking a defensive lineman.

Ragland, Billings, Fuller would be nice. This round is going to be a lot of fun, bunch of guys I like on both sides of the ball, but defense seems to have the overall best bargains.

Bell , Spence , Billings , Alexander , Robinson , any CB .... like you all say , great bargains. I sure would spend all three today on Defense were I the GM.

Sure I made some assumptions prior to the draft but now with the first round all shaken out I'd like to go Robinson , Alexander , Bell or Spence today.

I still see CB/FS/OLB/DL as positions of needs, luxury picks would be TE/WR. Ideally a trade down from pick #33 to grab an additional 3rd or a 4th would be great.

Would not be shocked to see that happen at all. Trader Jon is keeping things interesting for sure.
