Went with B-. Overall I'm happy but there were definitely some reaches IMO. It does seem like we got some good value late in the draft though.

Gotta give it a C, too many missed opportunities.

Jack Conklin was a good pickup. He was my second-rated OT on the board. JR maneuvering some extra picks, even if not not as well as the Browns did, is still noteworthy.

Day 2 was rough. Passing on Jack was tough. Jack can literally play everything. Strong sub-packages, 3-4 inside, outside. Plus the fact that he is a top-3 talent, it's hard to pass up on somebody like that in the second round just because his career might be shortened, but probably not. Browns getting Ogbah was also tough. Obviously we couldn't help it, but he's a much better pass rusher than Dodd in my opinion.

We should've came away with at least 2 secondary guys on Day 2. We did with Byard, and I do like him, but he does have more concerns than Bell or Green would of had. If we didn't waste a pick on Henry, and when you have as many holes as we do, it's certainly a wasted pick whether he is good or not, we could fill in that safety position better, or at least gotten a legitimate corner instead of McCourty. Johnson's the only pick I felt comfortable with. I thought there was better options, and I question his consistency, but a guy like him was definitely needed.

Day 3 was awesome though, especially for not having a fourth round pick. I felt like we used our later round picks very well.

I'm giving it a B-. The pick of Dodd just keeps bugging me. There were just some incredible players on the board there, and taking a Derrick Morgan clone there was very perplexing.

Gave it a B, felt like we played it very safe and didnt really want to take any risks, and that's why tunsil and Jack were passed up on. Theres gonna be some sick locker room chirps though with Henry coming from bama and Dodd coming from Clemson :p . Also with Conklin being from MSU and that safety being from Middle Tennessee State :p

Exactly that's what I'm trying to tell PK on Twitter too. Build competition and build for the future. We got 4 guys in this draft who had 1st round grades from some teams... That's insane value!

B+ would have been an A if we didn't give up a 2nd rounder next year. But I like Conklin a lot and think he will be good for our line.

Dodd, Johnson, and Henry all had 1st round grades from some teams in the NFL. Heard that on NFLN. That's insane value we got and all 3 of those guys will be impact starters for us.

Byard is a ballhawking safety who seems like he can play. Especially if our pass rush picks up where they started off last year. A center fielder out there is something we needed badly. He and Johnson are gonna have a good battle in camp.

Like the WR from UMass. Heard a lot of good things about him coming out. A good route runner is something we haven't had in a long time here in TN.

Took a couple of corners who I think can make a push for 3 and 4th DB this year.

Tretola is a guy I like as well. Chance for him to potentially crack the starting lineup and save us money on Chance's option as well. That's $11 million we can spend on another area of this team.

Wallace the LB seems like with the right coaching he can be an effective pass rusher. LeBeau has shown the ability to get the most out of LB's in the past. Filled in for Myles Jack after his injury and played pretty well.

Honestly I think "safe" was the smartest way to play this. Our roster is pretty terrible.
