He is a very good return man but as a return man you need to offer something else besides just ST or its hard to keep you on the roster especially with return men becoming less valuable due to the rule changes. Unfortunately Burns is trash as CB so unless he's Devin Hester or Dante Hall I don't think he sticks.

They all go ..the only one stays is Andrews cause he did run the ball for us last year ..the rest gone ..
    MURRY...HENRY ...FOWLER...ANDREWS...

Maybe Mcluster stays if we have no returner..

I can see that, but if we keep Dexter to return kicks, is he really gonna see the field besides kick returns? I highly doubt it. So it's kind of the same boat. Go with the better punt returner. Kick returns are becoming obsolete, but punt returns can change a game.

Maybe someone will emerge who is more handy. Playing a position too. I'm not sure who may that be just yet though

    Cheers

Not sure those of you saying McCluster is gone, are saying that's what you would do or that's what you think what will happen.

You're telling the guy who was named a team captain the week after Whiz was fired by Mularkey is most likely to be cut?

He is the epitome of a team first, hard working guy.

Out of all those backs, he has the most offer. Return duties, he can line up as a wide receiver, he is a receiving out of the backfield, and iirc he has the best rushing average last season too. Even though he is 170 lbs soaking wet, he is also better in pass pro than Cobb and Sankey.

I think McCluster see the field because of his versatility. He shouldn't make the team as a RB alone but if he's returning kicks and getting 3-5 touches he's more valuable than a strictly return man who offers nothing at CB.

However if we keep DMC strictly to get 3-5 touches as a RB I wouldn't keep him but the staff seems to like him. He needs to return kicks in addition to warrant a roster spot imo.

He will return kicks...about 3 steps and a spin move to the ground is all he can ever accomplish but at least he can catch it, I guess.

Yeah it is about silver linings. As well as maybe just bring half of the RB's over to the PS! Keep Henry and Murray as the starters.
