This draft = Failure

Yeah because experts are never wrong... lol some of y'all amaze me. What the experts think is irrelevant.

Charley Casserly a former NFL GM loves our draft and who we got.

We needed offense last year. Can you imagine this team without DGB and Mariota?

 

Oh yes, I agree. And we needed an RT this year.

Hopefully we can go D with at least one, if not both, of the first rounders. We have not gone D in the first since Derrick Morgan.

 

I know it's early, but anyone in particular on defense you want in class of 17?

 

Next year, if like to see speed in the first. A true cover corner and a playmaker receiver would be the dream.

We shall see.

 

Outside of Mike Mayock, the NFLN guys are a joke. Charles Casserly might be the biggest idiot of them all considering he has the best resume for destroying teams.

I wouldn't take much what he says to heart, or the rest of the NFLN guys. These are the same people who graded our pick of Jack Conklin, a run blocker with flaky pass protection, on the worst pass protection team in the NFL last year with a brand new stud QB, over Laremy Tunsil a whole five picks later, the bar-none best pass protector in the draft....simply because he smoked weed some four years ago.

It wouldn't surprise me Charles Casserly loves this considering he's the one that got David Carr murdered, but I can understand how actual experts aren't as privy to it. And yes, experts can be wrong, but they are also experts for a reason. They are generally right. If experts are smashing your draft choices, they probably won't work out.

I personally think and have seen tape where I think Jack can develop into a pretty good pass protector. Now I still understand why that isn't satisfactory. 1. We could've probably gotten an extra pick having waited on the trade with the Rams. 2. We could've traded down higher and saved a pick and got Laremy Tunsil instead. 3. We could've gotten Laremy Tunsil.

That's basically what this draft was for us. An average one, that could've turned out a lot better...but could've also turned out a lot worse...like most Titans drafts do.

We should be jelling nicely next year, and then boom! Titans competing for the big one. AFCS is going to be a wrecking ball 3 years from now! Jags are looking soleeeed.
