These draft grades are so random. That dip**** from CBS Prisco gave us a C-. I trust his evaluation about as much as I would trust 520 writing a letter. In other words he knows as much about football as 520 knows about grammar, i.e. absolutely nothing.

You can't argue with the Dodd pick he was a solid prospect and we needed a third edge rusher. A very high probability he is as good as Morgan or Orakpo. A solid value pick!

I would take Dodd over Floyd straight up and the Bears used the 9th pick on Floyd. Dodd was a more consistent player and weighs 30 lbs more!

    Dodd=Micheal Bennett while Floyd=Manny Lawson.

As for Henry you have a player who can be a potential star. He is a f*cking beast!

Prisco is the Jags writer. He will always downgrade the Titans regardless of the situation.

And for one -- I have guys at work, dudes who have never respected the Titans -- not once in their lives.... coming up to mean and saying, "damn, the Titans are set!" or "Dude, the Titans made out like a bandit." and "It sure as hell looks like the Titans are going to be a top-tier offense."

And mind you, they're Packer, Brown, Eagle, Bengals, Viking fans..

So your argument that we're still a laughing stock - holds no water.

Oh so because you don't like him it means his opinion is invalid, but every other expert who doesn't like our draft their opinion matters. My response was to someone saying the best draft grade we had from EXPERTS was a B- and that's not true at all.

Your opinion doesn't hold any more weight than the experts do.

Mel Kiper loved the Conklin pick too. Had him as his 4th best player in the draft. Where did they say anything about Jack being a better pass blocker than Tunsil? Never saw that at all.

This couldn't be more wrong. Someone literally just posted an article of how experts were bashing the Broncos and Seahawks draft 4 years ago and that draft helped both of those teams win Super Bowls. It netted the Seahawks Russell Wilson and some players on defense and the Broncos got a number of players for their defense. The experts bashed that draft but I guess they know all right? This happens very often. Experts are wrong ALL THE TIME. Just as much as fans are on the NTL Draft.

Tunsil comes with baggage and an injury history. I'm pretty sure Conklin was the #1 OT on our board. It's been reported that a couple of teams had him as their #1 OT in the draft. Conklin is a better fit for this team than Tunsil is and his skill set isn't far behind if not even with Tunsil.

And that's your opinion, but we got 4 players who had a 1st round grade. Other NFL teams pegged a 1st round grade on 4 of our draft picks. How is that average at all?!? If that's average then you have way too high of expectations.

Floyd reminded me of Barkevous Mingo. Didn't want him to be a Titan. I'm pumped about all of our Day 2 picks.

I retract my statement, what do I know? I'm gonna give JR full benefit of the doubt plus the more I read the more I like our draft. Other teams find good players in later rounds who were not highly touted. It's just we've failed to do that in past years , hopefully it happens this year.

No, his opinion is invalid because he was a terrible GM and plenty of people in NFL offices thinks he is a joke. That doesn't mean Charlie boy can't ever be right, anybody can make guesses. I'm not taking his advice though.

I'm sure there are plenty of more expert that don't know what they are talking about. I was simply pointing out Casserly since you mentioned him as if he was some god-tier expert when that is furthest from the case.

Yeah, and those were two team's drafts. I'll repeat it again, I never said they don't get things wrong. If that was the case they'd all be relaxing on their private islands thanks to Tom Brady. 31 GMs passed on all those guys too, what does that say about them? Thing is both are good enough to presume, and what I know, I don't like the day 2 picks, or the day 1 pick as much as I could've liked.

Until Jon Robinson actually does something, I'm not going to sit there and think he's a good a GM. You don't have to feel the same way, neither of us are wrong or right, because they havn't been put on the field yet.

Also, you are completely wrong on Tunsil/Conklin. That's not reasonable baggage, and he's healed fine. He doesn't have any more injuries on his resume than Conklin does. Conklin isn't nearly as good of a pass protector as Tunsil. Not in college, not in the pre-draft workouts, and probably not now. He's a run blocker, now for the 32nd ranked pass protection OL.

I also don't take Mel Kiper's advice either. Probably even less than Casserly now that I think about it. Also, outside of Dodd and Conklin I'm not sure what you mean by 1st round grades. I know Henry could've been close, but there was definitely no way Johnson was rated any higher than mid 2nd rd.
