At this point I'd keep warmack for, at most 2.5/3 million a year. Otherwise he can walk.

I'd he improves, great. If not, easily replaced.

A good OL coach and Center can do wonders for you...

Mawae was one of the best pickups I can remember. He made both the fat dudes beside him much better... And Munchak was an epic position coach...

Here's hoping that Jones and the Hog can have that effect on Chance, and the rest of the group, simliar to Mike/Mawae.

Mularky has talked about moving Warmack back to LG where he played in College. Having him next to Lewan and Jones could do wonders for him. That is stability that he has never had before. No way we pick up his option today, but I would go ahead and extend him though. I would offer him a 4 yr/ 16 million deal for him. We have the money and he will play a lot better at LG. (If they are admitting to thinking about it, that means that are going to do it). Our O-line depth is looking good to me. Who is the 4th tackle?

    Lewan/ ?
    Warmack/ Schwenke /Spain
    Jones/ Galik
    Poutasui/ Tretola
    Conklin/Bell

I missed that. Wouldn't hurt to move him, he couldn't do much worse on the left side. :brow:

A few things. First, Whiz's scheme, a mismatched OL of power and zone players and a bad OL coach are serious contributing factors. Add in a total lack of accountability from the OL to HC in regards to demanding excellence out of the OL and putting the players in positions to succeed rather than fail. Then add in Warmack's seeming reluctance to demand excellence out of himself.

Warmack is now in a position to succeed. A scheme that fits him to a tee. Talent on both sides of him and all power players in a power scheme with power rb's! New OL coach and an offensive focus on pounding the ball. A GM that is gonna fire his @ss if he doesn't outplay the vast competition set up to challenge him and everyone else on the interior of the OL. He's already had his option declined so this year he is playing for a contract. If he's not motivated to be great this year, he never will be!

Will the real Chance Warmack please stand up!!!

Warmack will either force us to extend him with at least above avg play or he'll be let go and replaced.
