Smith and Jack were risks. Our medical staff must have not signed off on them. You have to go by what they say. We were not in position to take a medical risk at this time.

Eh. Toss up right now. issues with both outside of their respective injuries-

Fit. Jack is an off the ball Lb that was weak af against the run. Smith won't play this year so? And he's more of an OLB tweener.

Ragland would have been my pick had we had the option. That dude is a rocket attacking the run- need to strengthen the interior to stop the run.

I've learned over the years to pretty much trust the exact opposite of whatever you say.

I'm glad we got a star in Dodd.

I expect Dodd to be an outside OLB. He'll rotate in behind Morgan and Orakpo. So well Deiontrez Mount

Casey, Al Woods [with Austin Johnson right on his tail] and DaQuan Jones on the line. Blackson & Klug as the backups. I like this line. It's not elite, but it's good.

Williamson & Woodyard continue to start at ILB. Spence & Palmer see some time here too. Perhaps Aaron Wallace, but I think he'll find it tough to get time here [not that any of these spots should be a lock]

CB is a real toss-up. McCourty starts outside, that's for sure. I think Cox starts outside as well, and Antwon Blake is the nickel CB. Brice McCain also sees time at nickel, he's primarily a nickel CB. BWW doesn't even make the team. Sims & Reed are very promising but they're late round rookies, highly doubt they see any sort of significant time this season, but didn't McCain & Blake only sign 1-year deals, and BWW is on an expiring contract, Cox & McCourty not guaranteed to be here in 2017 either.. Wow..

Yup. Far from elite, but hopefully McCourty can stay healthy. Cox/McCain have potential to be average haha

Hopefully that pass rush can get enough pressure on the QB or were screwed.

Let's just hope 1 of those 1sts next year end up a CB.

Crazy...but I have to agree with you. I wanted Myles Jack, if he's 100% healthy, guy is a beast. Very explosive and fast.

Lmao no wonder we have sucked over the years. Because we have done the exact opposite of what i thought we should have.

Hm well considering he won us more games then any qb since and since we haven't had a 100 yard rusher at rb since cj left it doesnt sound like it would have been a bad idea.

That is the most flawed logic I have ever heard.

What did VY and CJ do upon leaving our team? What has Cortland Finnegan and Alterraun Verner done since leaving our team? What has Albert Haynesworth done since leaving our team?

They all of the same thing in common. Here's a hint: NOTHING.

With other teams. If we would have had a coach to keep them here it may have been a different story. And btw cj was leading the league in rushing last year before he went down with injury.
