Bruce Matthews was a HOFer and Warmack's Oline coach. He has not been consistent with any coach IMO. He needs to play better & stop making excuses.

That being said, Bostad was a horrible NFL Oline Coach. He had success in college coaching Wisconsin's oline. However, our olinemen made NO improvement under Bostad. I actually feel like line play regressed under his leadership.

Some of the oline issues had to do with the protections & plays Whisenhunt was married to IMO. I really want to believe that so I can have hope for improvement this year. Adding Ben Jones at Center should help. He is an upgrade over any we have on the roster IMO.

I agree 100%!! If he actually performs this year it just proves that he could of done much better last year. He will collect his check and go back to his old lazy ways. I really hope JRob sees threw all the BS and finds us a real OG in FA next off season. Warmack's issues have much more to do with effort than technique. Watching him on the side lines; he just looks lazy. He moves so slowly & labored, it drives me nuts.

Bostad was a horrible Oline Coach. I will give him that. None of our Olinemen developed or improved on his watch. However, if Warmack would put as much effort into his game as he did making excuses he may show some life on the field. I cannot remember one game where I thought: Dang Chance looks dominant today. He is really on his game.

Didn't this interview take place at a camp for oline? I thought he attended this camp on his own. Did the team send him, and pay the freight, or dd he spend part of his offseason working on his game and pay to attend?

That indicates he wants to get better if you ask me. You can't blame a guy for that. If Bostad had been all that great I don't think chance would be pursuing stuff like this.
Unless you think this was just a camp for scrubs. But I don't think Kyle Long fits that description. These are guys that take their jobs pretty seriously.

For the love of God stop feeding him.

    1. Who cares what his opinion is?
    2. I could tell you his opinion of anything. It sucks.

This is a guy who would complain after being invited to an orgy at the Victoria's Secret headquarters.

It probably is the case with a lot of top talents who didn't have to focus on technique at the college level.

I forget where I saw the article but it broke down Warmack's issues. I seem to recall it was poor footwork. I'll see if I can dig that up.
