Titans extend Walker to multi year deal

I think his blocking will be more of a decoy move. Most teams don't expect Walker to be doing the blocking. That's why we have kept Stevens around for 27 years.

But, I still think Walker will give it his all if he's asked to block more. He's shown more heart than the rest of the team combined since he's been here.

 

You started off going in the right direction...but what's the point of bringing up players that are no longer on the team, drafted by a regime no longer associated with the team?

And they call me a negative Nancy...smh

Excellent news. Delanie always seemed to be a bright spot on the team.

 

To remember our mistakes and hope we avoid them in the future.

There are generally serviceable free agent TEs every year. And then of course we landed our best TE since Wycheck via free agency. Unless it's a truly elite special occasion TE, I don't like using thirds and seconds on the position. And I hate project players that are switching positions.

thrilled this got done !! Delanie Walker is worth every single penny. Delanie is the blueprint for what an athlete should be like on and off the field. He's got the skill and stats to back that up, plus the work ethic, attitude and personality to go with it.

This team has won 5 games in 2 seasons and I've never seen Delanie take a play off. Never. He gives it 100% every damn time. Delanie should be the blueprint for what a Titan is and needs to be.

I'd take 52 more Delanie Walker's on my team.

 

Well you just kinda babbled on about stuff that had nothing to do with the subject.

If you had said "Glad we got Delanie in free agency instead of drafting failed 2nd and 3rd round tightends like we have in the past" that would have made more sense.
