Who's the last missing piece? (OL)

Curious why you single Spain out specifically when he was one of the better guys towards the end of last year?

 

They will make it open competition to get the best guy blocking which i think is Tretola for RG his run blocking is just eye popping and that's what mike's wanting but the pass blocking needs a little work hopefully Tretola will work on it and be a little better before the season starts.

 

The missing pieces are the two guys we draft in the first round next year. LG and C need to be filled with first round picks. We're already 3/5 of the way to having a line made completely of first round picks.

Schwenke sticks as a backup C, he isn't strong enough to play Guard anyways (especially in Mularkey's run heavy scheme)

Spain played pretty okay at Guard last season. I think he has a good shot to win this job.

Bell is a powerful Guard, we already know what we have in him. I'd say he too has a good shot to start opening day.

Poutasi certainly has the body type and power to play Guard. This really depends on how well he makes the switch.

I really like Tretola as a future starter, but find it hard to believe he's about to beat out the other 3 on day one.

I think Bell is the favorite with Spain right on his tail, and Poutasi has an outside shot depending on camp and pre season

 

That would be a goddamned travesty.

I read it as LG being a possible first round pick in 2017. That would be a ****ing travesty.
