Yeah. As much as I'm loving what JR has done it's just so tough to get too excited when you remember Mularkey is still the HC. Imagine the optimism if AAS had made a real hire.

Eh, I'll give him a year to see what happens. I was ready to let him go this off-season as well but I'm not going to root against the guy. He has a great DC and a familiarity with his OC. This is probably the most put together team he's ever had as a HC and that's not really saying much.

I thought it was a great read, but I particularly enjoy it when they add the videos to explain certain concepts.

I have to disagree with that. Drew Bledsoe, Willis McGahee, Travis Henry, Eric Moulds, and Lee Evans on offense in 2004. London Fletcher, Takeo Spikes, Lawyer Milloy, Sam Adams, Pat Williams, Aaron Schobel, and Nate Clements on defense. 9-7 with all of that talent.

Then he quit after 2005 when JP Losman took over.

    Dude's a loser.

He had a defense and a decent running back in buffalo, but Bledsoe was a statue who held onto the ball too long. He threw 20 tds and 16 ints that season. Not what I consider great Qb play. Bledsoe was very similar to Leftwich. Neither could move much, and both had long deliveries.

Not great QB play, but not bad QB play either. Bledsoe was sacked 37 times that season, which was the least of any season in which he started 16 games going back to 1998. Holding onto the ball too long wasn't an issue.

Bledsoe also played a lot better the next year when he went to Dallas. Funny how that happens. Gets away from Mularkey and he plays better.

Buffalo started 0-4 that season. Nine of Mularkey's 18 career wins came in a 12-game stretch when the team got hot. He's a loser and a quitter.
