    Let me help your analogy...
That's like having $500 in your pocket and walking into Best Buy, seeing a TV for $400. "Nah, I don't think that TV is worth $400. I'll pass."

Then someone hands you an extra $500. "Well now I'll pay $450 for the TV...

Why trade the 3rd when you only have one? Now you have 2. I myself would be on board with that. Look we can spend a 15 on a Tackle who could suck completely. Or spend a 3rd on a somewhat proven tackle... Sir how is that even a debate

Is the answer you'll get if you called and offered that... Dude is a top 5-10 defensive player in the NFL... You can't possibly watch football to make such an insane trade idea

Its known that they are probably going to have to trade him for a 2nd. That's fact. We have a high 3. If no one takes it, its not a bad offer. Will they accept? Probably not, but it wont hurt. They will lose him after this year. They cant pay him 100 million. We can.

Idk, better to get something now than nothing next season. No team has offered a 1 for him to this point. The asking price may come down considerably on draft day. He is one of the best d linemen in the game though. I completely agree with that.

Question would y'all be upset if they traded our first pick in the second round for him?

    I'm just saying...

Wilkerson and Casey upfront... Orakpo / Morgan / Avery behind them...

    Sign me up!

No doubt he'll dominate in LeBeau's D, and with that kind of havoc upfront, doesn't matter who's on the backend, they'd shine regardless...

I'd trade 'unkown' for 'known' any day of the week.

Robinson or not, with our history of picks in the 2nd and 3rd (what, the last decade or so it seems), coupled with the lottery we got from the Rams (plus next year having two number 1s).... Its a no brainer.

If a second is all it takes, even the 33rd pick (almost a first), he's a true play / difference maker and he's still 4 from 30.

    Not a trade, but...

Was watching NFL Live a couple days ago, they were going over the best available FAs still & a team that should pick up said FA.

Best available WR was Anquan Boldin & the recommend the Titans pick him up. If we could get him on a 1 yr deal, he'd be better than Douglas, IMO.

Looks like no one traded a third(or anything) for Anthony Davis.
