theres only 3 quarters of football on the guy, but in those 3 quarters he looked the part

 

I think the premise was to let him start for a year and see how he does, as we were (and still are) multiple years away from being a competitive team. And people questioned Mariota or Winston as true franchise QBs while Williams looked (and still looks) like a surefire great D-linemen.


Glad we drafted Mariota and all but just saying.

Losing him for nothing kinda sucks. But he didn't really help his trade value. This is best for both parties really. Be interesting to see who picks him up, I'd assume someone will take a chance.
