Drake came on to the scene and quickly rose to the top of the rap game with his unique style. Like it or not he's been the King of Hip Hop for the last 3 years at least. This is not just my opinion, but the opinion of most. This isn't a debate, Kendrick is the only one fighting for that position.

But you're not alone. For whatever reason Kendrick has a lot of people thinking he's actually saying something.

Over half my list contains better lyricists. As far as pure writing talent goes.

 

Ya, I really have no interest in this actually...some gay.meek mill or Rick Ross gonna win. I want no part of that. I will use all my accounts to vote for Andre 3000 tho

 

I absolutely love Kendrick. I think Ab-Soul has better lyrics and Schoolboy Q puts out better bangers and that is just from TDE, but KDot has the total package. His stuff touches people. It sometimes gives me the chills. ...and that is special.
