Can't say I disagree. Not sure why he gets the credit he does. That said, I'm sure his knowledge will help a bit until we put someone better behind Mariota.

So for our backup you want... a starter.

Brock Osweiler and RGIII just got signed as starting QBs.

Ryan Fitzpatrick is a vet backup, and he will be starting somewhere next year.

There are not backups in the league that fit your criteria.

 

I can't wait to see their site updated once he plays for them lol...Enjoy that 0-10 record and statue tendencies...Along with poor vision and crap accuracy. Good luck Charger fans.

 

Honestly won't be surprised if Tanney ends up the #2. He may not have the vet experience, but he's been around the league for a few years now and there is a small sample size of him being capable to fill in.

Cassell last season was brought in to compete for the starter job in buffalo, ended up getting beat out for the starting job & back up spot.

I'm not gonna miss Mett the slightest, but I thought having those 3 battling it out in camp for the backup spot would of probably helped Mett step up and improve.

Either way, still not convinced Cassell is a lock as the teams #2.

 

Cassel is our #2, JROB even said it if it wasn't obvious before. Tanney has 2-3 quarters in garbage time, there's no telling what he can do yet.. May not even be on the final roster
