    Don't think I was the one that said that..
    Never heard KRIT before today. Listened to two tracks.
    Not inclined to dislike it - but also not immediately memorable either. He stays inside the box, just like most today..
    Vs Public Enemy, you have imitation vs innovation IMO.
    PE was blowing doors down. You could put Helmet inside those tracks and it wouldn't sound out of place.

    This idea because it is old it is somehow superior to modern stuff is ridiculous.

    Stays inside the box? The tracks posted here are so far outside the box of popular hip hop. Good god.

    Public Enemy is not good, at all.

    LOL, sure..
    The guy has all the same hooks, mannerisms, grunts, movements etc as Generic Hip Hop artist #755 thru #8639..
    I don't profess to recognize every esoteric nuance of the guy after two listens - but also shouldn't have to drown in the material to be blown away by it..
