No doubt Mamba...I get it, Titans homers etc...I want us to be at the top, but we have a loooong way to go for sure. Houston could be scary this year...I think we are simply Titans fans keeping it real. That said, I hope we somehow turn this thing around.

I am a realist as well....we will be much improved, bit we are not winning the division this season IMO.

I predict that the Cows will regret paying what they are paying Osweiler, and that the Colts will continue to struggle. I think that this season the Hags will be right there, and that is who I predict wins the division.

I could see this as well. Granted FA doesn't always lead to wins, but they've picked up a lot of draft talent recently. Colts should have fixed their line a bit, but still have holes. I think Osweiler is going to end up beinga bad contract, he didn't show a lot on a very good Den offense. Neither did Manning, but he was done.

You do realize Whitehurst hasn't been on the Colts roster since the end of last season, right?

You do realize that the Texans got 5 wins the AFC south. That won't happen again. They are that good. Let's see if the hype is real. I don't believe in them. We shall see.

Thank you...Yes I do..Which proves my point even more. Again, they now have weapons, and they will at least get 2-3 wins in our division alone.

What weapons do they have now they didn't have last season? new QB with less starts than Mariota ? Miller running behind a torn up brand new O line? A bunch of rookie wide receivers ? Did they sign Gronkowski and I missed it ? I'm not buying the hype and I live in Houston. Osweiller is going to be an interception machine. Miller isn't a healthy Foster. The Texans are not bad but they aren't great either. The AFC south got better. Like I said and you agreed they won't win 5 games in the south and their schedule is tough this year. 8 wins max.

In fairness, I agree Houston is somewhat over rated and I'm not sold Osweiler is the guy BUT let's look at the 2 beat downs they gave Tennessee last year.
    Game 1/ 20-6
Titans still in it late but Hopkins gets 8 for 94 and 1 TD and their D gets 7 sacks (3.5 from Mercilus, 2.5 from Watt) and 8 TFL.
    Game 2/ 34-6
Weeden off the streets goes 15/24 for 200 and 2 TD
Hopkins again 7 for 117 and 1 TD.
The D slowed down to 1 sack, 3 TFL.
The score says the game wasn't close and watching it says the game was a bigger blowout than the score.
They added Miller who also tore up Tennessee in that 38-10 route.

Your asking if Houston did anything to improve, but I think the division was theirs to lose. Has Tennessee done enough to surpass them? I don't see it. Has Jax? Maybe. Has Indy? Luck will be back, but I don't think that's enough.

Well lucky for them, that could win this division. Outside of our division (which they usually clean up at) they have Bears, Chargers, Lions...all beatable teams...As for weapons, Miller is very solid...and he has showed it. I'll give you their O line, but he is better than Foster because Foster is never on the field...Osweiller will be better than the QB's they had before, and he doesn't have to do wonders. They added a lot of speed at WR. DeAndre Hopkins is nasty, they also have Strong coming in to year two, Will Fuller, and Braxton Miller. Defensively, they still have Watt, Clowney, Willfork, Mercilus, etc. Like it or not, as it stands, they are better than us. I hope we end up at the top, but like I said before...Colts find ways to win, Houston has a good defense and will do enough to stay atop, Jacksonville does Jacksonville things with injuries and a crap line, and we have new coaches, new players, etc with the same Corners that got burned up year after year. It's going to take us a few more years to be good, but we are headed in the right direction.
