You can definitely blame Mett for serving him up on the play when Hunter's spleen got ruptured.

Hunter is soft inside, doesn't like contact. Those type of guys don't succeed playing the sport of football.

Doesn't help when you skip practice because of an ankle injury, then go running and jumping trying to touch a 13 ft ceiling.

Sharpe, a fifth-round pick by the Titans out of Massachusetts, worked with the starters again on Tuesday. He began getting work with the first team in organized team activities.

“He’s been the most consistent (receiver),’’ Mularkey said of Sharpe, “and we’re letting guys who have been the most consistent get more reps.”

This is exactly what our WR corps needed.

You have 3 1st/2nd round picks that are all potential, a vet that has had decent years and a good relationship w/ our now OC, a newly acquired FA and a 5th round rookie has come in and is already in the drivers seat to take their jobs before training camp even starts.

I don't know much about Sharpe, I'm still not convinced this soon to think he is one of the 2 guys lining up outside when week 1 starts, but I am now rooting for him to actually do it.

If the rest of the guys in that WR room pride didn't take a hit that a 5th round no name WR from a small school is punking them at OTAs, then our WRs are actually far worse than I actually thought.

Our team needs more players like Sharpe coming in and trying to take the starting jobs. We've been paying a lot of guys to go through practice and then stand by on the sideline while we get beat down instead of fighting for wins. I'm not saying he's going to break out like Odell Beckham did but we can use any amount of additional production from the WRs that Tajae can give us. Our WR corps was terrible last year.
