Okay okay we'll do this again. His hand time was 4.47 faster than Sankey's digital 4.49 and Henry's 4.54 digital. All this while being 5 inches taller and over 30 lbs heavier. Sankey also played against average competition in Washington and had a 5.3 grade vs. Henry's 6.3 grade. Hate him or not, Henry is a much better player coming out and had the numbers to back it. I'll agree that our RB's suck outside of Murray because they haven't proven jack squat, but to defense Sankey while being the first back taken and his bs numbers is nuts...bad or not. The dude was a reach and it shows...He is a #3 at best, so who cares. I think we are in great shape with Murray and Henry. DMC sucks, but we need him because why?! Oh yeah, Sankey can't return kicks either...Worthless.

 

He is the only one of our backs with trade value. We move him.

 

If we don't trade Sankey I hope he makes the team assuming we keep 1 of him Andrews and Cobb. He offers the most potential of Cobb and Andrews. Hopefully he gets a clean slate with this staff now that Whiz isn't there over analyzing his footwork.

 

Last year we lost 6 games by a touchdown or less. Let me ask you this, do you think the addition of a healthy Mccourty, Morgan, Lewan, Blackson, Cox, Mariota, etc. Plus the addition of Murray, Jones, Mathews, Johnson, Henry, Conklin, Byard, Dodd etc. could possibly lead to a 7 point swing? I do. This team is closer to a playoff berth than you think.

 

Hey, I hope you're right Danger. I still wonder about the new scheme, Mularkey, and DB's...but I do agree that we should and could win 5-7 games this year. I think hands down that we are a 8+ win team by the end of next draft/off season. I love the direction we are heading!

Difference was- Sankey had to earn yards. Henry just ran straight or off edge.

 

Man I can't believe we still arguing over this. Sum it up this way Sankey is a 2nd round bust that was a healthy scratch off the depth chart for a few weeks last year where as Henry is an unproven rookie RB coming off a championship, heisman winning season.
