I too wish we hadn't of given up on him so early but something had to of been going on that most fans didn't see. Jon has been on the practice field watching the players closely so I tend to trust his judgement on a player a lot more than Webster.

I agree sorta but the truth is in the return . I hope Kelley is solid. Hard to believe we couldn't have gotten more tho. It was hasty, maybe it had to be. Still don't sit well but we suck so bad I'm on board with JRob for better or worse.

That's the helluvit. DGB may look good for a game. He may gain the trust of Bradford or Wentz.
Then the following week he'll cost a TO so they can show him where to line up. Or quit on a route and allow a pick, or let one go through his hands when it really matters on 3rd&8.

And that's the problem with DGB.

Prepare yourself.....Sam Bradford: "No, not there DGB....Idiot, line up on that side.....Throws ball in his direction nowhere to be found....Next time he targets him......Right in the hands of stone and out, after slow acceleration off of the line. lol

    Yup.
Or like against the Browns when he had a half-step on the CB deep down the rt sideline and just backed off, only to watch the ball fall half a step in front of him.
That was the 2nd game of last season. If he had learned from that, never to give up on a route, he'd have at least one more TD on his resume, and he'd probably still be a Titan.

Oh well like I said, he's Philly's problem now.

I have read all of Eagles54's comments. The sum of it seems to be how bad the Titans got fleeced for their 2015 2nd round pick, Mariota sucks and is injury prone, and the Titans were 3 and 13.

Ok... Yes DGB has the measurables to be great, but appearance is only a small part. There has to be something between the player's ears, so he can learn the offense and execute. DGB doesn't have it. Secondly, the player has to have the drive and work ethic to be the best. DGB doesn't have it. The best player in the history of the NFL is Jerry Rice. 6'2" 200lbs and ran a 4.59 40. He had the other qualities I just mentioned.

Just because he was drafted in the 2nd round, it doesn't mean he was worth the pick. The best receiver in the NFL right now was a 6th round draft pick, as is the best qb in the league. Go back in time and redo their drafts and both would be top ten picks. Draft position means nothing. Spouting about how your team got the Titans 2nd round pick for nothing could come back to haunt you in a year if he gets buried in the Eagles depth chart as well. He wouldn't have made the Titans final roster anyway. I'm glad the Titans at least got a player in a position of need.

Several team executives mentioned how DGB was lost when they went to the chalk board when interviewed prior to the draft. Even the Eagles coaches are now seeing the limits of his football intelligence. They are only working with him on 4 plays as the x receiver, in an attempt to get him on the field. He learns at a snail's pace.

As for Mariota being injury prone and sucking... He was held out for the final two games last year because the season was lost and the coaches didn't want to risk a more severe injury to his knee. He could have played if the team was in playoff contention. He played very well for a rookie qb. 2800 yards 19tds 10ints in 12 games should be proof enough that he doesn't suck.

While we are talking about young franchise qbs Eagles54... Wentz is 6'5" and 240lbs, but he got hurt in his very first NFL game. So far it appears that he is more injury prone than Mariota. He hasn't done anything yet to show he is in Mariota's league. The truth is, you don't know what you have in him yet.

Finally, we all know the Titans have been one of the worst teams in the league over the past couple of years. Arguing about past seasons is also pointless. It's not like the Eagles were great last season either. What matters is what happens this season. Let's wait and see how this NFL season goes before gloating.

Smeagol54 is only here to play the bully on a message board for a team to which he feels he can do so. It starts with his avatar, which is intended to be offensive.

He began his membership by talking smack, which is in violation of forum rules (see #6) and continues to spam the board with the same topic in multiple threads.

He serves no purpose here other than to disrupt.

Why he is tolerated is beyond me.
