From where I was sitting, our CB's had no hope at all. It shocked me at how many times we was in position to make a pass break up and still got torched.

The DL better bring it or else it's going to be a long day for the defense.

A lot of you guys are confusing arm strength with simple bad habits/ poor fundamentals at times. Mariota has arm strength, plenty of it. Often times he just doesn't simply step into his throws, or throws relatively upright and flat footed.

Go back and watch some of his throws you guys deem under throws and i guarantee you that this is apparent.

If Mariota has such poor arm strength then someone please enlighten me how he is able to zip the football into such tight spaces or how he is so deadly on the run? It's not rocket science, he's never been a pocket-passer, literally ever. In High School and in College he was never asked to stand still in a pocket, make his progressions, and throw a ball 50 yards in the air. His arm isn't weak, his footwork and technicalities are probably below par though. He'll continue to learn and improve on being a true NFL QB. This is his second year in the league, the kid just turned 22.

Oh you should know by now, we have scouting QB experts here lol. They know more than any coach, scout, GM or player!

Really though, he's getting the offense moving and in scoring position, I'm very happy seeing this.

Yeah no kidding, then it's crickets when I post 50 yard passes from the combine. People on here just want to make claims that aren't true because they need a quick answer other than it just being a bad pass.

Anyone can post 50 yard passes in shorts.

His arm us weak for the NFL, other guys can do that without a perfect windup

They want to trade MM8 for a big arm QB that sucks aka the previous #7 here. Don't mind anything else about QB attributes, only thing matters is bragging about rocket arm. Guess they want uncle Rico here...

I think what we trying to say is that his deep passes SUCK idk if is arm strength or mechanical issues or whatever.

He needs to improved or else he will be a Chad Henne who is mobile which if you thing about it still makes him an amazing player but in order to be elite he needs a deep ball in GAME SITUATIONS.
