I will be if the 'zero Fs given' attitude from 14 & 15 returns.

Not so much counting on Ws as I am counting on being a decent football for the first time since 08

I was like the players in not wanted a QB. I'm excited I was wrong about Mariota being the right choice. Not that I thought he would be bad, but I'm a firm believer in defense winning championships so I had wanted to draft Leonard Williams to go with Casey on the line. D is still an issue if you ask me, but certainly not at the point of regret for taking Mariota.

    Offensive penalties by the starters:
    Against Chargers: 2
    Against Panthers: 2
    Against Raiders: 0

    Not bad at all.
Sidenote: Poutasi alone has more than 4.

You would be amazed at how many do not. This is a bargaining chip for many head coaches interviewing for jobs - how much say so they have in selecting players. Many think that only the GM should be concerned with that - of course there is consultation, but not the coach's decision. This is why Fisher left. In fact, Adams trumped Reese even in taking VY. Fisher didn't want that again.

    you crack me up @GrayGhost1951

you get most of the facts right most of the time but still miss the point.

Fisher won the battle with FR and Floyd went to the Evil Empire while fishface dropped anchor in Nashville. Fishface was the king of the FO to the point of handing out unauthorized Christmas bonuses just before BA dumped his lethargic butt.

He didn't pick Gabbert. Can't fault him for that one. One year in Jacksonville with the worst roster in the league... Hard to blame him for sucking there.

Also can't hold him completely responsible for last year with us. Wasn't his fault Webster/Whiz built a dumpster fire.

But yea... I'm not a Mularkey fan. But who knows, maybe with Mariota and JRob he can be decent. Wishful thinking. But maybe, just maybe.

He chose to take a job with Gabbert as the franchise QB. You don't do that unless you think you can win with him. He's a ******* either way.

Disagree. I don't think HC offers were flying at Mularky when he was offered the Jax job. I don't know exactly how he felt about Gabbert at the time, but just because he took the job doesn't mean he thinks he can win with Gabbert long term.
