I was with you there til the last part, Mariota and Wright have no special chemistry. Wright averaged only 40 yards a game when him and Mariota took the field together. Other than week1 Wright was MIA most of 2015

But I do agree that he's a good athlete and we should still get him involved

Wright was a mother-f*cking 1st round pick who hasn't done chit. And he has a turd attitude. I won't be the least bit sad to see his over-rated, under-achieving, malcontent azz GTFOH.

    Titans' Kendall Wright re-injures hamstring

Wright said he believes he’ll still be effective despite the missed time.

“I think I was doing pretty good out there today, too,” Wright said. “My main thing is I’ve got to get my timing with Marcus. That’s my main thing. So whenever I get back and whenever I’m feeling good again, whenever practice is over, I’ll stay after extra and get some one-on-one with Marcus.”

How many throws does it take to build that timing?

“One throw each route, and I think I’ll be good,” Wright said. “It’s that simple Marcus knows where to put it at. All I’ve got to do is catch it.”

This is probably the most concerning thing. He has missed how many weeks, and feels all he need to do is catch 1 pass for each route from MM.

MM is a timing QB, and hasnt had much opportunity to build that chemistry with KW. Even when KW comes back, I think MM will look other ways for the most part to guys he is more comfortable with.

However if they can get on the same page, then Wright could be a nice weapon for MM.

At this point though, I am beginning to question Wrights desire to put in the work to reach that point

Anyone watch his interview after practice yesterday on the Titans website? Dude is smirking the whole interview answering questions. He suggested it wasn't anything major, he feels better now than 30 minutes ago, and he'll be ready come Sept. 11.

I understand if he doesn't want to play in preseason games since it's his contract year and doesn't want to risk injury, but he's really gonna tweak something in a game once he goes full speed. Also I don't think this type of attitude is one Mularkey/J-Rob want to deal with either. He better ball out his contract year or he's out I think.

Oh IDK about that, Hunter has never lived up to his potential, Wright at least has proven one year he can be counted on..

Outside of Matthews and Sharpe our whole WR group needs an overhaul.

All these concerns are valid. But you have to admit: on that 60 yard pass play with Tajae on Saturday, if that was Wright he would've outrun the defenders and scored. We need him on the field, IMO.
