Week 3: PFF Top-Rated Player

Yet another argument for why PFF doesn't know wtf they're talking about.

 

lewans been great... I don't think he let up a single pressure last game. No sacks on the season. mack and Irvin were irrelevant. RBs have a ton of YPC.

Best player on O for sure this year. Walker missed a game and was quiet game 1.

 

Most likely, single handily cost us the game.

He might be our 3rd best player on offense, but that explains why we are 1 and 2.

 

At least he was hustling downfield trying to help. I hate the result but applaud the effort. We need more people that want to win. If we could get Moe, Larry and Curly to show some effort they might get separation and even....amazingly...catch a few balls.

 

With all our problems, we could do a lot worse at LT.

I thought our O was ready and our D was going to hold us back...

Guys, I've been dissappointed with MM... I don't care about the OC and what not, sure i don't think he's very good, but playmakers shine. QBs make their receivers and the whole O better - all MM seemingly wants to do is dump it off short & over the middle. Don't tell me that is all on the OC either, I can see it in his progressions, that is what he wants to do

Teams are sitting on those routes.

But yes, open up the damn playbook and try to steer him to the deep post, to the outside, etc... Our run game is working well, take some damn shots FFS.

Receivers sucking quite a bit defintely doesn't help - seemingly very limited seperation on their part.

All I know is there was a time in MM's short career when I got happy he was dropping back to pass. Now I'm not so sure...

I'm honestly just tired of loosing. And I'm tired of watching a boring outfit.

What's next... Another OC for MM to have to learn his system? Another HC to clear house?

I can't go through 2 or 3 more years of rebuilding. Enough is enough.

No, no its not okay.

Every week, it's something with this guy. It isn't a here or there, it's every game and sometimes a few times a game.

He doesn't learn, and that is a problem.

 

He hit Murray. They are trying to eliminate players throwing themselves at piles of players already engaged and static. More concussion stuff. If you are moving the pile it's one thing....but jumping on or over the pile is different.

 

Is anyone else excited that we finally have some quality pieces in place? Murray, Henry, Mariota, Tajae, Fowler, Conklin, Lewan, Casey, Orakpo, Williamson, Morgan, Dodd and Kern to name some of the best. 5-6 more quality players away from having a playoff caliber squad IMO.
