Which yet again, a lot of coaches have final say in the roster. Which I backed up. The Broncos indeed had a GM during his tenure, which you were wrong.

So to play along McDaniels has full control over the Broncos:

    11-17 as Head Coach
Jay Cutler demands trade over meeting w/ McDaniels
    Brandon Marshall demands trade
    Traded for Brady Quinn
Lost all respect of his players
    Piss poor draft classes
    Should I continue?

Failed as an OC for the Rams in his lone year away from the Patriots (outside of Denver)

Yet again because people claim he wont have "control" over the roster here and that he will be the savior. The guy has the same arrogant personality of Whisenhunt. That alone will destroy this team.

It's a question of whether or not you believe it. I'm literally watching a unit coached by DL contrasted last year by a unit coached by Horton. One was terrible and one is doing well enough. Meanwhile over in Cleveland...

Cleveland lost to Philly who is now 3-0

They lost to Baltimore who is now 3-0

They lost a heart breaker to miami.

We are still very comparable to Cleveland.

    8 out of 32 isn't "a lot of coaches"

    Oh, you got me.

He wouldn't have the final say on 53 man roster so now it's just his coaching. All those trades are irrelevant. And the piss poor draft classes

McDaniels from an X's and O's standpoint can't even be argued. He's one of the best in the game at it.

8 out 32 <--- with 2 minutes of research and off the top of my head
Care to make an excuse for this time w/ the Rams if he is such a great OC?
Or how he grew out of his arrogant attitude? Lost his locker room in Denver?

Context man. I'm specifically looking at how their defense played. QBs are having field days with the Browns defense.

Come up with more than 8 then. You are claiming a lot of coaches and you also said most. So let's see some more evidence here!

Must be tough standards for a coordinator if they can't have a down year. But let's not look at the Rams offensive talent at all. Or the fact that everyone was fired after that season. Or the overall body of work he has put together as play caller. One year in STL is how he should be defined.

There is an article from a former player of his that talks about why he lost the locker room and he also goes on to say that he thinks he will go and become a more successful head coach.

Your posts are getting shorter and shorter. Must be running out of ammunition pretty quick over there.

Each post does not need to be a novel to get a point across. Regarding control of the team, I could careless about devoting anymore time to that, you can disprove it if you want. The fact still remains it is not unheard of coaches having control of the 53 man roster. His offenses have ranked 13, 25, 31 in yards outside of the Patriots. Also in scoring he is ranked 20, 19. See the trend yet?

Good call on not devoting any more time to it because you are wrong. You're right it's not unheard of. No one was claiming that it was. So I don't know why you are so adamant on including that. It brings no relevance to the topic of discussion. But "a lot of coaches" or "most coaches" don't have that same power.

Let's just totally neglect everything he's done in New England. That seems fair.
