We are a different team this year than last. We are actually better, but it may be more confusing to MM because we have more options. We didn't have Murray or Sharpe last year. We also have a line that protects better. So it's somewhat of a head scratcher as to why he is doing worse. Some of that has to do with DC's getting some tape on him and finding his weaknesses. The recipe right now is crowd us at the line and make him beat us deep, which he isn't able to do for various reasons. I am amazed we have run for as many yards as we have considering that. In a few games it may all come together and we start cooking on offense. Picking up Leslie will be interesting to watch. He actually runs a faster 40 than KW -4.4 vs 4.6. Lord knows we need some speed. I would like to see them both on the field. KW is a better slant back I think, while Leslie can stretch the field. This is the last piece of the puzzle. If we can't move the ball and score points with this additional help then we have to find the problem, whether it be MM or Robiskie.

I'm going to lean towards Robiskie. A lot of MM's problems are his own. But I think a significant portion of his problems is in the receivers. They have no separation abilities, no speed, and they don't fight for balls. A lot of Marcus' throws have been accurate and where they needed to be for a COVERED receiver, but they don't fight for them, and it costs us.

That's what happens when the team is run by tally ho fox hunters and not football people.

    From NFL.com....

Titans wide receivers Rishard Matthews and Andre Johnson

Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota saw the single coverage he wanted last Sunday and let it rip. Desperate for Oakland's press coverage to back off, Mariota threw the ball 50 yards downfield in hopes of seeing Johnson make a play. But Raiders cornerback David Amersonblanketed the 35-year-old, as he'd been doing the whole day. The throw never had a chance.

This was another failed pass to a new acquisition in a month full of them for Mariota. While the Titans' investments at running back look wise, Johnson and pricier free-agent pickup Matthews have combined to gain an incredibly inefficient 137 yards on 30 targets. Another favorite of coach Mike Mularkey, wide receiverHarry Douglas, has gained 41 yards on nine targets.

Mariota's early-season struggles rank among the most depressing storylines of this young campaign, and the Titans front office is complicit in the crime. Aftertrading receiver Dorial Green-Beckhamaway to Philadelphia, the Titans have no vertical element in their offense. The roster offers few solutions.

A stagnant young offense is tolerable if there is a clear direction. A stagnant offense with veterans that won't be on the team next season feels aimless

He's struggling but it's not all on him.

He had a great rookie year and we are 3 games in this year, not sure how anyone can call him a bust
