Stability and Stupidity

We have noticeably improved, especially in the run game. After another draft next year, I think we will have another young batch of talent, and this year's draftees will have a year of NFL experience to grow from. If we stay healthy and still flop next season, it will be time to take a hard look at our staff...

 

Exactly, way too early in a year many had us as a 5-6 win team to worry.

 

Mulsuky is a loser...always has been.....

 

I understand it won't be now or would be a good idea to happen now. But he has to go. You're right why worry about it now unless it means injuries or is going to hurt/hamper Mariota in the future. I think this staff will ruin Mariota.

 

I just consider Mularkey still the interim HC. No one available was a homerun hire so they continued with Mularkey.

 

Never for anyone getting fired. Especially good people like Mike. Now that he has been hired, I think he prob should get a chance to turn it around which means the year. What I'm looking for is not necessarily wins or losses but growth. They might be still losing but are they losing week in and week out for the same reasons. Making the same mistakes. If this team continues to lose game in game out making the same mustakes. Looking horribly awful with very little growth in our key components. I would strongly look at that. Especially if it's the system this coach wants to run. I never believed he was the right hire for this core. The core needed someone else. But...Success and more success can sell me otherwise

 

Belichick was too early on. I am certainly not sold on Mularkey, but when we spend thread after thread complaining of the lack of talent on this team, it seems absurd to call for the coach to be fired.

 

The backlash for the hire was so bad, I honestly think they hold on a little longer than they should, just because they don't want to admit they butchered that entire hiring process as bad as everyone thought they did.

 

Mulsuky needs to be fired....PERIOD...if you disagree...you are wrong...I will add it to the list.

 

I think you're prob right. Pride is on the line you know. She got her back up and was adamant and gung ho about hiring the man. She wont admit she made a mistake. All the football purests didn't know what they were talking about. Yet she knew more than they did.

In the end she will have her cake and eat it too.
