Wide receiver solution

    Obviously there is a problem with our offense, but I honestly think play calling and a simply way to basic offense is more of a problem then the WR core. I agree we need a true stud, a true #1 guy..... but even a true #1 couldn't do anything in this offense. No sense in talking future wideouts when we have no reason to believe the play calling will change.

    Yeah I'm right there with you. We have two 1sts and they are in all likelihood going to be top 15, if not top 10. Seems like the perfect time to take a swing.

    The man put up #1 receiver numbers. He was a legitimate top receiver when he was playing is what I'm saying. Go back to when he played, and see how many teams had players who matched his numbers.

    I don't have to. I watched him play. A legitimate number one draws double coverage and is a major part of a defenses game plan. I'm not saying Mason wasn't good, he just wasn't what the majority think of when they think of a number one reciever.
