Amazing numbers for 8...

I was down on our WRs the 1st few weeks, but they haven't been bad lately. we dont have that elite guy, or a real burner, but I think we have a solid group right now.

Beginning of the year I wanted to use our 1st pick on WR, now I'd be fine waiting until the 3rd.

They have been catching the ball well, that's for sure.

 

But look at that accuracy!

 

Yawn...same old tired stuff.....our QB has no receivers but has set all kinds of records.....he must throw the ball and catch it himself. Prove we have have the bottom 3rd of receivers. There is a standard called DVAR that grades out receivers. Go there and see if we are in the bottom third. Then come back and apologize for being stupid and making dumb statements.

 

When someone replies with the word "dude".....you can pretty much assume that nothing they type has much meaning, and that the only high fives you are going to get is from kids that are on your level. You and meekmode should swap spit. I have had that little cretin on iggy for a month.

 

I dont think we have bottom 1/3 WRs, but I think MM makes them look better. MM is very accurate and his WRs often don't need to get much separation for him to deliver the ball ... And in turn they are actually catching passes in traffic or they are laying it all out there to make MM look better.

MM would be crazy dangerous with a true #1 ... but he is so good with just above average that I think we will let it ride with who welse have

 

You lost all your credibility with that true #1 crap. I have seen MM make a few tight throws that were impressive, but overall our guys are getting pretty open, or making spectacular catches for him. They are not the problem right now. I am sure Jrob will get him a new toy when he is ready for it.

 

So you're saying we do have a true 1?

MM would not be better with a AJ/Julio/Cooper/Fitz type?

We shall see how MM8 and the team performs vs the Broncos and the Cheifs. Broncos defense is amazing. Just hope Mularkey and company come out firing with a good game plan. Can't afford to come out flat or give up couple scores.

 

Our receivers are just fine. The "we have bad receiver" is just hyperbole. Those of you who watched last week saw when Mariota made a bad decision and the commentators reviewed the play to show multiple wide open receivers that Mariota missed.

Now let me say, I AM VERY SATISFIED with how Mariota has been playing since he tightened up the fumbles. But the constant attack on our receivers is absolutely uncalled for.
