Davis is a great athlete, and seems to have more YAC potential and ability to get open underneath than Williams, who seems to be more of a sideline, back shoulder catch specialist.

I like this guy a lot but still have Ross & Williams ranked ahead of him

I like Davis more than Williams and Ross. Plus he seems like exactly what Jrob looks for in players. He's apparently a high character player with a great work ethic to go along with insane production. He's definitely the most polished of the big three and that seems to be factored in heavily with the new regime.

A lot of people tell me that (he's the most polished) but I'm not seeing it yet. He seems to get great production from beating up on smaller, slower, and less athletic defenders and in the few games I've watched, he tends to turn short passes into long yac for a TD by simply outrunning his opponents. I don't mean to over simply this and imply he has no talent or skill, he does. But I think he's being over hyped. Let's see how he does at the SR Bowl.

I really hope he goes to the sr bowl because there are some good cb's and good wr's we can compare him to!!! And we'll see how polished he is.

His level of competition is a step down compared to the conference's Williams and Ross play in no doubt. I don't fault him for that too much however as level of competition seems to be less of a factor now more than ever. He's by far my favorite WR this year. I've studied him far more than any of the other WR's just because he jumped off more to me than the others. This bowl game is the perfect stage for him to show out. Hopefully his QB gives him the opportunity.

I do agree his stats are padded though because he takes short screens to the house and picks up tons of YAC off them but we need that in this offense. Delanie when he doesn't slide unecessarily to catch balls is nice after the catch but otherwise we really don't have anyone who picks up a lot of yards because of strong running ability. He has crazy good hands as well and is natural plucking the ball from the air where as Williams let's the ball get into his body a lot.

Who would you compare him to in the NFL? Do you think he's a top 5, 10, 15, or 20 pick?

I'm guessing a likely scenario is your dream. Take Foster and then get Davis with our pick?
