I think they wanted to give Murray the bye week to recover from his ailment before "benching" him. Henry's time will come.

Henry is great in the open field. He has speed and good hands. His only "weakness" is that by being so tall he has a hard time stepping out of tackles when defenders go low on him. I remember Mularkey saying one game "he has to get that yard". So maybe that is the problem, trying to find ideal situations for him.

Murrays injury has hurt his game more then he or Mularkey want to admit. Before that he was killing it, so it was understandable that he was being fed the ball. But I think Henry should have been getting more touches the last few weeks with Murray noticeably struggling. And even on some of those 1 yard attempts that Murray has failed on this season.

4 catches on 10 targets for 29 yards. So much better than a back up tackle though.

We really saw the Kelly trade value when we lost Lewan for the game.

Our WRs have stepped up, RM especially since AJ retired. We're not missing DGB

There is more to being a great oline than just rushing tds. Oline has to block for the qb to throw tds as well. Come see me when the season is over. If the Cowboys have more than 53 total touchdowns, more than 2354 rushing yards, and fewer than 30 sacks on the qb, then I will admit that their 2016 line is better than 2014s line.

Sharpe is a 5th round rookie and is still outplaying DGB. The fact that you keep claiming he is so much better than what The Titans currently have is a head scratcher. I won't stoop to throwing personal insults back at you, because I am better than that. I will say this about DGB though. He isn't smart enough to spell his full name, that has to be why the acronym was created for him.

The handling of RB carries in TN has not been great IMO. Henry should have had more touches IMO. Murray has been doing a great job as the workhorse back. However, last week at Chicago was a perfect example of a time that Murray absolutely SHOULD have been on the bench & Henry getting the bulk of the snaps. Murray looked gassed, was not producing, and even fumbled on a big drive. Luckily we kept the ball. However, we were up by 20 points. Murray NEEDED the rest. Henry should've gotten the bulk of the carries in that game. When he got chances in the game he was picking up chunks of yards. Murray was getting stuffed.

I do not think Murray is failing. Nor do I think Henry is better than Murray. I do think that managing Murray's touches was more important than stroking his ego. Mularkey should have been more concerned about resting Murray for the final push of the season. If we have any hope of getting into the playoffs we are going to need Murray at his best. Resting him at Chicago was a perfect time to get him early rest. Now Mularkey is talking about resting Murray for the early part of practice next week. That is not something I am happy with. I do not think any part of this team can afford to rest through practice. We have had far too many games this year where the team has came out looking completely unprepared to play. Resting anyone through practice is stupid IMO. Especially when there was a prime chance to rest Murray against a weak team that we were controlling; until Mularkey went WAY conservative at the half. Feeding Murray, who was obviously gassed, was ignorant. Going with the fresh legs of Henry was a much better call.

Can't change it now. However, it was a very BAD coaching decision IMO. I hope Mularkey is more intelligent handling the roster moving forward. If we have any hopes of making the playoffs the HC has to be smarter. Better splitting the reps with Murray & Henry is going to be a must going into these last 4 games. Murray has been fantastic & I am happy to have him. However, he has got to rest to be fresh in the rest of the games.
