Pre-Game Thread Next Up: Broncos @ Titans

Well, we were playing in Chicago so I'm sure that had a lot to do with how well Barkley played. He played ok this past Sunday, but didnt play as well as he did against us. As for this coming Sunday, having the Broncos at home is big for us.

 

On offense I expect to see us go with a bunch of heavy packages. Denver has been susceptible to the run and also to the TEs. I hope that we use the TEs to chip on Ware/Miller/Ray all day long. I'd like to see Walker and Fasano lined up tight together. Let Fasano chip and head to the flat while Walker heads to the middle of the field to occupy the middle Lber and safety. We do not need to challenge their CBs when they are in man coverage. I'm fine letting them take our 2 WRs out of the game and play them basically 9 on 9. Control the ball and the clock.

On defense who knows what we are going to get with our crew. What we can't do is give up the big play. We have to force them to work it down the field. They have not been very good in the red zone this yr. They are 27th in the league in red zone TD efficiency. While our offense is 1st in the league in red zone TD efficiency.

This should be a great game. Sunday can't get here soon enough

 

Titans actually a current fav by 1. I also see this as a close one. Marcus will have to bust a few runs to keep drives alive for the Titans to win this one.

 

Mariota will be flushed out plenty and forced to run

Not expecting to win that one anyway. They need to come out this Sunday like they did against GB, and not take their foot off the gas.

 

One of the few things the schedule makers did in our favor was the bye.
If...and I mean if we are a playoff team this year. We can build some serious momentum heading into the post season.

Oh and call me crazy but I'm not too scared of the kc game, j.locker and whiz beat them at kc with a trash team.
Kc has to earn that kind of fear.
