Nope. You know about them long before they fracture. Lots of pain for weeks, then "pop" usually.

Not necessarily. I've had multiple stress fractures in both feet over the years, and the time when it went from "stress fracture" to three broken bones in one foot I never knew what was going on until it happened.

    Yeah that can happen.

No doubt it hurts significantly worse after the fracture but the bone is weakened and periosteum inflamed weeks prior to the fracture. People def feel some degree of discomfort different than normal. An X-ray pretty sensitive to pick up on the changes. I don't know how they screen it but it most likely should have been disclosed by Dodd or picked up by our Med staff. And that's not even addressing picking a player that high with such a small bit of work.

Maybe we can sucker the Eagles again for a CB this time. They seem to like projects.

Dodd played an excellent game vs the Lions. I re-watched every snap he took and he was good.

Damn this sucks tho. Robinson may have really missed on this one. Way too early for that tho.

I don't get a good feeling with this one. When MM was saying he was slacking in practice I guess the kid was in a lot of pain. Foot condition on such a big dude ain't too promising. I guess edge rusher jumps up on our need list. It's a shame , he's practically a first rd. pick.

Let him get the second procedure done and be ready for next year. If he doesn't produce then let him go. Just wished we had a little more depth at the position. Staples might be decent at special teams but that is about it.

At this point it's about the best option available.
