He doesn't likely need a second surgery because he's lazy though. I'm sure coaches may want him to push through and play better... But if his foot is still ****ed after surgery and all this time/rehab, I can imagine it's difficult to just push through and play better. Obviously the foot still isn't right after all this time.

the NFL is turning positionless, Tyraun Matheiu, Su'a Cravens, Deonne Buchannon, Mark Barron are just the start of Hybrid Safeties. Their job is too be big enough to cover TEs but fast enough to stay with WRs. Remember when Jadeveon Clowney was a sure fire prospect?

I absolutely loved Su'a Cravens & Deoin Jones last season. Both were hybrids, and both are having nice rookie campaigns. But part of what I loved? They were day 2 prospects. I'm just not 100% sure I'm ready to gamble a top 5 pick on Peppers.

Clowney is pretty good man. Injuries have slowed him down from being the guy we saw on tape his final season, but he's a damn good player.

Would agree with the fact they are day 2 prospects, but JRob being a Patriots guy has shown to go get his guy no matter where it is in the draft. Also we have to remember that no matter who we draft as a pass rusher would be sitting for a couple years if RAK and Derrick Morgan keep playing good, and i still believe that Dodd can be a part time player like how the Pats used Jamie Collins [just for bull rushing] so im not sure if using a 1st round pick for a stash would be ideal. On the flip side, this might be our last potential top 10 pick for a while (i hope).

Dodd is a speed rusher. Always comes in from the corner. Allen would be a bull rusher, like Johnson, Klug, etc. Foster can beat out Morgan tomorrow.

Smith scared me more than Jack. That nerve still hasn't started firing or woken up and it may never. Jack would have been fine with me.

Foster plays inside and Morgan plays outside. Ideally they both start cause Williamson and Woodyard are liabilities.

Dodd was a good pick. 1st round graded pass rusher with high motor and high character.

He had a clutch sack against Detroit at the end of the half which prevented them from being aggressive, which may have helped win the game. At least give him credit for his meaningful play in his one start.

I don't particularly want a pass rusher in the first, but I wouldn't pass on Garrett or Allen if they're available. McDowell is also tempting

They're both bad in coverage, but actually very good against the run
