I think he will bulk up from the combine...probably around 240lbs to be in the 'range' of traditional nfl norms. At 225, there will be some teams that will think he's just too small. I remember they had the audio on JRob during the Senior Bowl Practices and I don't know exactly which prospect they were looking at, but they were gushing at how good a player he was but...too bad he's too small for our liking. JRob wants big, strong, fast, tough, breathe football not air player.

He's great at coming off the edge vs a rb or coming up the middle where there is a crease and going thru a rb. He is NOT good at lining up on the line and doing much with a OG/OC when he lines up right in front of them and they know he's coming. They blitz him that way to get Williams and Allen 1v1's, not to really get him to the QB. When they delay blitz him or crossfire blitz him, then they are letting him do his thing.

The "big" thing is a patriot norm. - he might go into the 230's for the combine but he's on record already saying his previous weight hindered him. It's not like he's hiding anything. He also mentioned knee issues at the previous weight... hardly going to change anyone's mind over 15 lbs. He's not your average LBer at 225 and THATS the sell imo

It's hard to tell from film but his lower body/trunk doesn't look to be as big as explosive players normally are. Football all about the squaty players so that part concerns me to a degree- it's also over analyzing lol

I've admitted before he is a guy that plays on instinct and sometimes those instincts betray him but for every missed play he'll have multiple plays resulting in losses. He will ruin screens and anything in the flat. More than anything I want him because he is one of the most violent players I've ever seen. He will set a tone for the players around and against him that is undeniable.

Right now- if it's between Foster, Adams and Hooker, I think Hooker is the odd man out. Both the other two are much more polished prospects.

I am hoping with all I have that Robinson trades #5 for a 2nd round this year and a 1st round next year, + one more pick either in this year or next years draft.

You got all that right minus the fast part.

That would require us to basically drop out of the top 20. We already have a top 10 pick from a trade... time to get the talent

I agree. I would be ok with dropping back to ten or twelvish for a second rounder. I believe that there will still be stud defenders or maybe Williams at that slot.

But we have a decent roster these days. We are better off adding one top level talent than two mediocre ones at this juncture in the rebuild.

I just believe there is no one at #5 who will be as good or better than a player we can get later in the draft. If there were a certain game changer available at #5 I might agree. Just don't see him.
