With the 157th Pick of the 2016 NFL Draft: Southern Utah CB LeShaun Sims

Sims went up against the Denver WRs and did well, he can play with anyone it looks like. If J-Rob doesn't win executive of the year we riot.

 

Kid gets better every week. Keep playing him, we have two gems in Sims and Byard. We are not far off from being elite. A physical deep threat WR on offense, and a number one corner changes this team. Add another pass rusher and safety and we rival any team in the league.

 

I wouldn't say Sims can match up with anyone yet..... he's shown potential though, especially for where he was drafted. At this point he definently deserves to keep a roster spot. He went against KC in freezing conditions where the ball was tough to throw, and against an injured Trevor in DEN. If he finishes strong the next 2 games then I'll be more convinced we got something in him. I most definently agree Byard is a good pick though, I wanted Vonn Bell at the time of the pick, I'll admit Byard was the better pick now.

 

If he keeps playing like this, it'll be really interesting to see how the draft shakes out. I want a top CB, and would us a 1st on one. But if JR can trade the later 1st and recoup a 2nd and has his eyes on a great CB there, he could go ILB, then a top WR, then CB. If he actually hits on those 3, which I don't think is out of the question, wow.

Very exciting time to be a Titans fan. 8-6 with 2 games left, mind ****ing blown!

 

Tonight Jrob said he had scouted Sims when he was with Tampa Bay and when he was still on the board knew he was worth taking. Man does his homework.

 

yeah byard look great on the whiff for that long td. if that would have been griffin this board would have been rioting calling for his head.

 

Byard is out for awhile after Hill broke his ankles on that long run in the 1st.

 

Byard tried to get out in front of the play and tripped up. Would have liked to see him make the play, but not many would with a guy running by that fast. He would have been better off just trying to tackle from the side instead of getting out in front.

Back on topic, Sims has looked good. Making the most of his opportunity. It should have come a lot sooner with the way Cox was playing, but for a late round pick thrown in the mix late in the season, he's been good.

Looks like McCourty may miss some time now. Not that it makes much of a difference.

 

Wonder if the coaches think Sims cant make the leap to CB1 this year

he's really the ONLY CB on the roster I dont hate right now
