#5 Foster. Only ILB worth a first round pick and a big need for Tennessee. CB, WR, S any OL all have quality guys at 18 or later. I'm on the Foster at 5 or trade down plan.
Big position of need with little top notch players available to fill the need.

That's fair but I think most people feel like Williams, and one of either Hooker or Adams will still be available at 10. So we could essentially still land one of those 3 and pick up a 2nd round pick.

Even if Williams is gone, I'm sure Davis, who I actually like more, will be there. One of those two WRs, if not both, will still be available at 10. Or I'm sure at 10 we will still get our pick of best available CB in the draft.

I'm sure many of us thought the same thing last year and look what happened.

If I have no QB, and loved one of the ones that were available - yes, in a heartbeat.

Would you rather have nothing at QB or WR? WR's are easier to come by than QBs.

The scenario I mentioned is actually something Floyd Reese mentioned on the radio but he actually thought we could get more. Instead of the 2nd rounder he said a future 1st.

The problem I see is that, trying to trade 18 will not get a second round pick which we need where is 5 will get us a shot at 3 elite players inside of the first 40...by the way I love Davis too and I think a lot of people are sleeping on him...I love Foster, only, I have questions about Adams and Hooker, but I may not know enough to evaluate them properly...I will trust JRob's judgement on them although, I'm still perplexed by him taking Johnson when we had a need at corner and still do....he did a great job finding Antwaun Woods and he easily could have produced close to what Johnson did and we would have one less need, but hey what do I know

I'd love a second too but sometimes people get too enamored with the idea of having one.. don't trade back to get a 2nd and miss out on the guy you had an elite grade on at #5

Sometimes 2nds end up Kevin Dodd or Austin Johnson.. (still giving these 2 a chance, but I'm just saying...)

We most likely will have our pick of top WR or CB at #5, but the issue is that their isn't a Julio Jones or Deion Sanders in this draft. At #5 you don't pick a WR or CB if they aren't elite. Top 5 picks are for QB, LT, and pass rushers.

That's what the media is good for, building up nobodies to enhance their coverage of the draft

Ideally we could trade down and pick up at least a 2nd and hopefully more picks, but also still get either Hooker or Adams. Probably wouldn't happen, but would be ideal. If we do miss on them, getting a CB wouldn't be the worst thing.

Also, does anyone think there is a chance the titans draft 2 cbs first round? Sounds odd, but wouldn't be the worst idea.

I think people are missing the point. If there is an "elite" player that we are targeting, then of course, take them at 5. The logic behind trading is if there ISN'T a prospect head and shoulders better than the rest. If the team has equal grades on multiple players, might as well trade down and STILL get one of the guys we were targeting. I honestly don't see a Jalen Ramsey or Calvin Johnson type in this draft. Is Adams that much better than Hooker? I've seen both arguments. Is Williams head and shoulders better than Davis? Who is the top CB prospect? I know as fans we usually fall in love with one or two players, but I personally don't see much separation. I'd rather pick up an extra pick or two than over draft.

We'll see how the combine and pro days affect evaluations.
