Barnett has a good bend and is relentless. He looks like he has decent athleticism but he's not gonna blow anyone away with his 40. He beats a lot of guys in college thru sheer effort on every play, guessing snap counts, and getting a good bend around them. He abused the LT in the Bowl game!

But the Pros is a different story. You rarely get matched up against a bad LT and 1-2 moves without elite athleticism does not make a consistent double digit sack guy.

I too see a lot of Morgan in him!

I'll be curious to see his combine because that will give us more insight as to what we think he can be.

Barnett being injured less and the argument he got more sacks vs SEC opponents is the only argument. Garett has better size/weight/speed, athleticism and upside IMO. We'll see how they stack up at the combine and if Garrett has any injury issues which could drop his stock.

Can't be an everydown thing but I prefer Barnett inside. He actually used his moves, doesn't have to contend with the "athletic" side as a pass rusher. Can't be first round with that designation tho.

Im a ut fan and I've seen a lot of barnett, this guy is really good. I see the morgan comparison, but think barnett will be a better pro. I also saw a guy that didn't grow as a player from year to year, this concerns me a bit with him. But, on the flip side i get to talk to ut players and coaches because of my family's connections and I've heard a lot of bad things about thier coaching staff. It makes guys like barnett, sutton, hurd, kamara, maybin and malone intriguing to me, because i don't think they are anywhere near developed. These guys haven't grown at all as players. Is it the players or the coaching staff that's held these guys back?
