No, Adams isn't better than hooker. They are different players though, and Adams fits our need more than hooker. Hooker is more similar to byard so I'm not sure you could play both.

You can play both. We have Searcy who is not really a SS but he plays SS.

Maybe you're right, maybe not. Like I said, I've seen both sides. Again, the point here isn't who is the better prospect. The point is, if they're evaluated the same, why draft one early when you can still probably end up with one or the other a few spots later.

Now, if the Titans agree with you, and Adams is definitely their guy, then don't trade and take him. None of us know how JR and MM are evaluating and grading players. Plus it is still very early in the process. I think it is very evident that last year they identified Conklin as THE guy. Then they were able to figure out and manipulate the draft to get THE RIGHT guy at THE RIGHT time. Bravo! Don't be surprised if they try to do it again.

The most likely scenario is us trading with the Browns again. They like Watson a lot, but he probably will not be there at #12. They are taking Garrett at 1 so they will need to jump up. Most likely in front of the Jets at 6. If Watson is available at 5, I could easily see a trade (The values are even as well) of #5 for #12 and #33. This makes the most sense for teams wanting to trade up. Good bet either Foster, Davis or the top CB is still at 12. Still a lot of be decided with FA, but this is a very likely scenario.

Yes, but I know hooker wouldn't be suited at all for SS, would byard fit there? That is the question.

IDK much about this years safety class, theyre just so boring to watch and evaluate so Im probably going to ignore them all together and focus on WR's and CB's...

I already know it would be a waste of hookers talent to put him at SS. The questions is would byard be a fit, if not Adams is the better fit for our team. I'm an OSU fan so I've seen plenty of hooker. Crazy range, elite athleticism and ball skills.

I would be happy with either S, or mike Williams, but ideally we'd trade back a few spots imo.

I get what you're saying. But we also don't get to "meet" these guys. We just watch them play. Teams put a lot of stock into their interview process as well. Their may not be a clear cut winner between Mike Williams & Corey Davis on tape, but the Titans may feel completely differently once they meet them.

Like Byard really wow'd the Titans personality wise / football IQ when they met. Enough to pick him at the top of the 3rd round, which some thought was a bit of a reach. It wasn't now.

In looking at last year's picks, a lot depends on how they have been evaluated. Did Dodd show enough to still be considered a worthy prospect, or do they consider him a "miss", meaning they need another DE? And that goes for other positions as well. FA of course will factor in. I think Robinson values guys in the trenches above all. And I agree. It's his time of year, and no doubt he's loving it...
