I'm all for any FA CB but Butler

He's good but he's not worth the price hell cost

CB, ILB and S have all got to be addressed before the draft. I have all the faith in the world in JR, he showed me he's a guy who gets it. Not like those lame f***s Ruston and Reinfeldt. I believe he has a plan to fill our holes with guys who fit our system and want to be here. CB and S are the positions that I don't mind us overpaying for. All I know is that I can NOT wait until FA kicks off. I expect us to be major players.

I second that bro...We are now a team that is being noticed by people and players...I can actually see players wanting to come here now. Exciting times.

I still think people always looked at TN as a desirable place to play.

Nice weather, no income tax, but now with Mariota at QB its absolutely become a place guys should hold out hopes of getting a call from in FA..

Not to mention the media attention. Some players need the spotlight while others look to get away from it. Despite the success the Titans are having now they are still a team that flys under the radar from a media standpoint which I personally like. They have always been that low profile team regardless of the success. I think TN is great place for players like Murray who have the talent and are looking to rejuvenate their careers without the media hype that they are normally is used too.

Wow no income tax? Is property tax high or sales tax high? We have income tax and high property taxes here in OR but no sales tax. This just revalidates how bad our front office was all these years. No income tax and couldn't get any good players to come play.

He's poison anyways, no way I'd give up a 1st round pick to sign him.

I agree with this. JR is a smart football mind, he will get the team in as good of shape possible in FA to provide him the opportunity to get the best play makers in the draft. As you said, it's what good GM's do, Titans fans just don't know what that looks like lol.

This team has neglected the defense for too long, it needs play makers. I think JR will position himself well in FA. I would love one of Bouye/Ryan, even if we have to pay a good amount. Then I think the rest will just be solid football players to round out the roster. That will allow him to trade around and get the guys he wants.

I'd really like a trade back and still get Foster, the dude plays like a wrecking ball and his injury may drop him to the 10-12 range. This range should also land one of Davis or Williams. I'd prefer Davis, but if he's gone, I'm sure Williams will be good as well. CB at #18, pick up a second and have 2 thirds, damn.

Been saying it for a while but if JR has as successful of a draft/FA as he did last year, I think 2017 will be a very big year.

Last year we brought in 3 veteran offensive starters, Murray, Mathews and Jones, and then went heavier on defense in the draft. In the mold of the Patriots, I think we do the inverse this year, bringing in a handful of veteran defensive starters and then drafting offense centric.

I predict 3 veteran defensive starters signed, CB, SS and DL, and then WR, TE, ILB and CB addressed early in the draft.
