Either trade back and take Lattimore, or take Sidney Jones at 18

Don't think Lattimore goes top 5

Your arrogance clearly proves you're an OSU fan.

Humphrey has tons of potential. Is big, physical, and fast. Prototypical traits of a shutdown corner. I don't hate Lattimore. But he has health questions and the CB class is extremely deep. There are better players available at positions that aren't so deep. If Lattimore is available at 18, sure thing. Or if we trade down from 5 a few spots that would be ok. But I want no part of him at a no. 5.

I don't dislike what I've seen with Lattimore, but the injuries terrify me.

Except he gets burned too often giving up the big play to be a shut down corner. Upside/potential is there but that also requires him to reach it.

Humphrey is a great athlete, nobody is debating that. But he is a very raw player and we need a guy that can come in and be cb1 or cb2 at this point. If we sign a fa cb1 and a cb2/3 guy, then I'm ok with taking him with the 18th pick. But, if he needs to come in and play day 1, then it will be a big problem imo.

Humphrey, like Gareon Conley, can have an awesome career if he can land with a team that already has an established #1 CB. But to call him what we in Nashville are looking in shutdown... Would be 100% wrong.

And there's a difference between arrogance and truth... The TRUTH is, Lattimore is the most complete and fundamentally sound cornerback in the draft... And not just than Humphrey.. But he is that too...

Humphrey was targeted 52 times and only gave up 22 completions. Which looks really good until you see he allowed 400 yards and 4 TDs. Also had 6 PDs, 2 Ints. (18.18 yards per completion)

2015 numbers arnt better either, 51 targets, 23 Competions, 515 yards.

Lattimore by comparison was targeted 36 times, 13 completions. 159 yards. 1 Td, 7 PDs, 4 INTs. (12.2 Yards per completion)

The yards speak directly to the concerns of humphery being beat deep.

Will Broken Arrow leave if we don't take Lattimore?

He's passionate about Lattimore but he isn't wrong. He's the best CB prospect in this draft.
