Garrett, Allen, Foster, Thomas, Adams, Hooker, Lattimore.

We need the QB hype to ramp up here so JRob can pull off a trade

    Worth the actual pick?

    Adams, Hooker, Howard, Lattimore, Thomas

Guys that I actually think make sense:

    Hooker, Howard, Lattimore.

Injury concerns or off field issues arise?

Cyprien isn't an every down safety so I would say no. If you believe either of those are going to be an all-pro elite type safety you still take them imo.

Cyprien played over 99% of the snaps last year. We can definitely make him an every down safety. He is elite at stuffing the run and pretty good at covering TE' s.

Meh, he is a run stuffer for sure. His coverage leaves a lot to be desired. I prefer my safeties to be able to cover better, stopping the run was never the issue. With hooker he would cover up a lot of issues with CBs. Hooker and Byard would be two really good coverage safeties and Cyprien could play a hybrid role.

To me it's a question of who is the top talent in the draft, regardless of perceived any "value" at the spot (i.e. QB's are viewed as more valuable and RB's as less valuable, etc). Who are has the most potential to be a superstar, with the least amount of downside?

With that said, here's my list in no particular order:
    Myles Garrett
    Jonathan Allen
    OJ Howard
    Jamal Adams
    Solomon Thomas
    Malik Hooker
    Marshon Lattimore

Notice that I didn't include Reuben Foster here. I'm taking off my Crimson colored shades here, and can say that I'm no longer 100% sold on him at #5. I watched some cut ups of him against spread teams this year and saw some issues that concern me. Several times he got washed down or just worked himself out of the play.

He does have elite pursuit ability, amazing explosiveness, and pretty good instincts, but there's enough other questions about his that I'm not confident taking him at #5. If we worked a trade back, then yes I could be ok with him there. But I feel that the talent listed above is all superior to him and would rather have any of them first.

Yea but I think cornerback is a bigger need anyway. I'd take Lattimore over Hooker.

My question is why isn't John Ross considered an elite talent?

Players "worth" the #5 pick for the Titans

    Myles Garrett
    Jonathan Allen
    Jamal Adams
    Malik Hooker
    Marshon Lattimore

with that said, I won't throw my remote at my TV if they pick Howard, Foster, Davis, Williams or even Haason Reddick.

I just don't think a TE is ever worth #5, not sold enough on Foster for top 5, Davis small school/not working out takes him out of the top 5, Williams separation questions, Reddick largely being a projection.

But I like these players and I don't think any of them are gonna "bust"

so I won't be mad if Titans select any of these. but the 5 I listed are bonafide worth the #5 pick.
