If Baltimore addresses it's offense they will be hard to handle. Their defense was tough last year..........Then again, their defense always seems to be good.

They need WRs, & TEs in a bad way. A much better run game as well. All things they can get in this draft; and they have a decent GM.

How doesn't it? Every one of the teams I have us losing to either beat us last year or had a better/equal season.

You guys crack me up. You say I'm "overestimating" teams like Arizona... while you're overestimating us based on pure hope and optimism. We've got holes galore. And haven't done anything to fix them- and may have gotten worse in the areas we need help.

When you're banking on rookies/draft to fix your secondary- that's a terrible spot to be in.

Arizona played in a better division and had 2 less wins.

And you can use that whole "we beat playoff teams" crap all you want. We also lost to horrible teams- something that is a staple of this franchise. We can't even get wins against the hapless AFC South opponents we face... and you're acting like we're a playoff team. We aren't. And until then, you can stop acting like it's so absurd that I have us losing to teams that are just as good or better.

Homerism is one thing, but you guys go way beyond.

yep, and explained that merely based on last season-- which isn't a formidable way to look at upcoming NFL seasons.

    --

look at all the people here that have us beating the Raiders first game though. That's all you need to know about how delusional this base is.

That does suck but at least......

Better to be in AZ in December than earlier in the year when it is like the surface of the sun and everyone dehydrating.

Why? Because you simply don't wish that to be the case?

Wk1: Raiders: By far a better team than we are. We won't be picked by a single analyst to win that game. It'll be an upset win if we pulled it off. Beat us last season and that was an off game for them where it took tons of dropped passes to keep us in it.

    L

Wk2: Jaguars: We should beat them. But we all know that any time we should beat the sh*t Jags, they smack us in the face. They beat us 38-17 last game... hardly feel confident about this one.

    W

Wk3: Seahawks: Another 10 win team.

    L

Wk4: Texans. A team we're lucky to split against.

    L

Wk5: Dolphins. The 4th 10 win team we face out of the gates. They got a lot better as the season went on also.

    L

Wk6: Colts. It's the Colts. And Mularkey.

    L

So what would make you think we won't start 1-5? Emotions?

I think we are better than a 1-5 team... pretty simple reason really...I think we will split within the division, not great but I don't see us losing both to the Colts

Seattle is beatable, Dolphins have improved but don't scare me.

We also beat playoff teams last year....Any excuses for those wins?

I get the feeling you wish this to be the case (1-5).

Oakland is not "far better". Nothing about our game (17-10) or season last year says that. Nothing so far this offseason says that. I'll also bet that yes, a single analyst will pick Tennessee to win.

I don't really have any beef with your predictions overall. They're predictions. I just disagree with your reasoning on Oakland.

You call 1-5, we will do better than that, though.

The Titans were in position to win the game last year. I don't think it's unreasonable to think they could win though I am not as optimistic as many here.

I've become much more cynical over the years toward this franchise. Though they've done some things which are encouraging lately, I'm more in a wait and see state of mind these days.

But based on recent history, there's no reason to think the Raiders will be worse. The game @Jax isn't guaranteed as we found out last year. The Seahawks were easier on the road last year but we know they're usually always tough. @Hou and @Mia will be a challenge as might the Colts at home who they've not beaten ages.

I'd be excited to see the Titans go 3-3 with that start.

Home vs. Hou, @Ari, @SF and home vs. the Rams and Jags should end the season with a 4-1 run and momentum going into the playoffs depending on how the middle of the season goes.
