In other words, like a horse :)

That is why I hate riding a horse IRL, they have a mind of their own lol

And {Right bumper} will have John pull back on the reigns which slows down the horse, eventually stopping him.

Did you do the railroad thing yet, with the tied up woman. You will love it. Just remember it has to be a woman.

    Beat it. Don't care anymore.

I did it once. Spent like 25 minutes trying to track down the damn train. It was not as satisfying as I had hoped.

Well, after beating HZD I kind of went into a rut. I bought Nier: Automata and didn't even play it, haven't played anything really in the last week or two. Decided to fire up uncharted collection and finish the 2nd one. Was at 87% complete for about 2 months and finally figured I would go ahead and beat it with the intention of going through 3 and 4 and finishing up the series in time for the new one.

Really enjoyed 1 and 2, have no complaints at all to be honest. Firing up Uncharted 3 right now. I really want to play 4, but I want to keep going in order so I have the full story in the correct order.

After this(UC3-4) I am going to give Nier a playthrough. Heard great things about it and I love JRPGs. Best buy gamers club is awesome. Pretty sweet getting new 60$ physical releases for 48 dollars day one.

edit: Oh yeah... fired up god of war 3 remaster last night in the early am and had a good time. Probably alternate my time between UC series and that until I wrap them up and start Nier.

I played RDR on 360.It was a good game for it's time. But it didn't get its claws in me like most others... I made it to what I thought was the end and was so relieved. Turned out nope... time to go to Mexico.

Stopped playing there and don't feel like I missed out on too much tbh

When you mount your horse and ride into Mexico... that moment was beautiful with the special song.

I liked HZD, but it felt like a huge grind.

I considered getting one when the stock situation settles down. I have the extra cash to grab it but nothing is out yet aside from Zelda that I even want to play. I'm not a big mario kart guy either. If Mario turns out to be epic, might push me over the edge. Last Mario game I played was on the n64 and it was life changing.

I just don't think I would find as much use for the portability as some people. Don't have a train or bus ride, don't have to fly due to work or vacation. So I would only use the screen around the house... in bed or pooping. Might as well just use TV if you're home.

I'm still interested in the console, though. Few more quality first party games and I will most likely pull the trigger. PS4 and Switch sounds great.. covers a ton of different types of games.

edit: Mario Odyssey + Monster Hunter... or dear god a Pokemon console rpg.. and then you have BoTW already released. That would get me to go buy one right now.

Feeling like there wasn't a grind at all for me in HZD is one of great things I liked about it. The entire game was perfectly paced for me, the side quests weren't too numerous and were typically interesting. Then you had the hunter lodge challenges, and the dungeon to improve your override ability.

Only time I ever had to "grind" was when I needed materials to upgrade gear, ie increase quiver space or potion space, and usually this was only on the final tier of upgrades. Took me 30 minutes to kill enough racoons to max out my arrow capacity.

Totally my GOTY to this point and I really don't know if anything will surpass it. Truly one of the best games I've experienced in the last 5 years.

But Aloy? What a terrible name for your main protagonist. Playing off alloy.. like robot building material. Ugh

I've just been playing Lego Avengers lately. Just a bit of mindless grinding.

I still have Until Dawn and Final Fantasy XV to play, as well as UC collection, God of War 3 remaster and some other indies I bought.
