JRob obviously knew/thought there would be a WR rush before 18...if he wanted to get his guy, he had to do it at 5.

Got WR and CB...Cant really judge until they play but I like the strategy.

I like this blurb from br

    https://www.google.com/amp/s/syndication.bleacherreport.com/amp/2698744.amp.html

"The Titans have their franchise quarterback in Marcus Mariota. Wide receiver is a different matter. Rishard Matthews is a much better No. 2 wideout than he is in a primary receiver role, and there's no telling how much better Tajae Sharpe will get in his second year and beyond.

The Titans had their choice of wide receivers with the fifth overall pick, including Clemson's Mike Williams and Ross.

In Davis, Tennessee should have the wideout it needs to partner with Mariota, and the Western Michigan star has the potential to be the team's best pass-catcher since Derrick Mason."

I like Corey Davis, but #5 was a reach.

But selecting Jackson at #18 added sugar to the Kool Aid.

Therefore, I just look at it as getting 2 studs in the first round. So the value of the 5th pick goes sky high.

Have always thought that Davis reminds me of a faster Braylon Edwards. Hopefully he can be the #1 WR we have been desperately looking for.

Thought it was a reach at first, like the player just not the spot. I didn't want ross at all, so it was a pick between willians and davis. But, after seeing all 3 go top 10, i like the pick even more. I wish we could have added 2nd round picks in this draft, but we had 3 last year, so it's all good. I look forward to seeing how teams are going to "try" and contain mm8, delanie, murray and davis, that's at least 5 guys on d occupied.

It's not a reach when there was a clear run on Wide Receivers just afterwards.

Knowing that Howard lasted till you 18, I would have rather gone Lattimore and Howard. Obviously there's no way to have known that. I'm fine with Davis and Jackson.

Now, how awesome would it be to grab Sidney Jones in the 3rd as well? Our secondary would be completely transformed. Though I totally expect us to go OL/TE in the 3rd.

A bit surprised as well. Just goes to show you if we didn't pull the trigger early we would of missed out on all three. Even if we didn't start the domino effect all 3 would of been gone regardless. Two biggest needs were filled plus ST with 2 guys...
