I love the full report cards though lol.

No way in hell anyone should have a grade on 5th - 7th rounders..

I think we did well. Wasn't what I was expecting, but I like it.

I figured we would trade out at five. When the Bears pulled their dumb trade, I knew that wouldn't happen.

I probably would have gone lattimore there. But either the meds scared us off, or Jrob knew receivers would go faster than CB's in this draft. Which was proven correct as all three went top 10.

I like Davis. I think he has a high floor. Hopefully, he will finally be that #1 we have needed pretty much forever.

At 18, it broke my heart to have to pass on Howard. But I like Jackson. Very athletic. Good ball skills. Seems to be a great attitude work ethic guy. There will be some bumps early, but I think he will be a vast upgrade over what we had. I think with Ryan, Jackson, and the two second year guys, we will be all right in the secondary. Gotta hope we stay healthy.

The two third round players seem like good additions. Two more weapons for Marcus. I especially like the TE. He can be used all over the field, and will be a weapon. Needs to work on blocking though.

The WR will be great in the slot. Very quick. A better version of Tajae perhaps. Should have competition for all spots in the WR room this year. Matthews and Davis battle for #1, Sharpe and the rook fight for #3. Douglas and the other clown get cut.

I don't pretend to know anything about the others. The running back should be a nice change of pace guy. The linebackers and OL will hopefully be good depth.

    _______

All in all, I think our team is greatly improved over the end of last season. If we can stay healthy again, We could make a deep run. I do not believe there is anyone in the league this team CANNOT beat if things bounce right. Of course, we can also lose to anyone too.

I think I will go ahead and pencil my prediction for next season at 11-5, AFCS champs, and a playoff home victory. Can't wait for camp and preseason! I will be buying NFL Gamepass this year so I can watch every game!

    Went with A-.

Loved our first day. Wished we could have found a way to trade back from 18 to land Adoree' but I'm not complaining because he and Corey Davis were two of my top-5 favorite players in this draft.

Had a great Day 2 as well although I'm not sure we needed to trade up for Taylor. Though if Taylor is Robinson's guy I can't knock him for going and getting him.

Would've preferred different players to some of the guys we took on Day 3 but it's such a crap shoot in the later rounds (especially since we didn't pick until the 5th) so I'll trust Robinson here.

    Great draft. Nailed it.

I haven't been this happy with one of our drafts in many, many years. Of course I loved our 2006 draft too...

If Adoree gave up 7 TDs last year in college, how many does he give up as a rookie?

He probably feels like he doesn't have to play FS anymore.

Jackson is a CB that wants to make a play every down and tried to do too much.

Once he settles down and realizes he can't score or intercept the ball on every play, he will do just fine.

    Now go to bed, mate..

Can't believe how many people are knocking the Taywan Taylor pick. He's such a stud. Head to Draft Breakdown and watch him vs Louisiana Tech, Middle Tennessee & Rice. His abilities in the slot, precise route running and excellent hands are such a great fit in our passing offense. He was a top 65 player in this class to me.

Adoree has grown on me. He has a chance to be real good. He has the ball skills, fight and instincts to cover WRs on the outside. I think he ends up a very solid corner for us.

    B+ to an A-

Davis and Adoree have to live up to some much needed help in two major position needs for us. I think they have a strong chance.

Taylor should be a solid addition to our WR depth. He's very KW to me but hopefully a third round KW is better than a first round one.

Smith, hard to judge based on 1 available film cutup. JRob said during his interview that they think he can play inline more than most think.

Jayron and everything after him is pretty much a mystery. Smith is very average at best but he fits the nickel LB need after Spence left.
