Titans Undrafted Rookie Signings

While it's a long shot, bringing in players to fill spots and work in camp is part of it. Ya never know if there's a diamond in the rough out there that everyone overlooked. It's unlikely, but crazier things have happened.

Superstars fade away and nobodys become stars sometimes.

 

He's a camp arm.

UDFAs serve two purposes. First, looking for any diamonds in the rough and second, as camp players. We need to fill up positions so we can have a successful camp.

 

So, he's a camp arm quitter?

 

He's not worth much discussion since he's a camp arm and 99% he doesn't make the team. Moving from one team to another doesn't necessarily make him a quitter. I dont know enough about him to put any label on him other than camp arm....yet. Unless he makes the team, I won't bother.

 

Jeff I know you know he was a 2nd round talent that went undrafted due to his off/on the field mishaps..

 

He moves well for a guy his size.

 

I don't think that is really a fair criticism for a quarterback.

You hear stories of the guy who stuck it out and it paid off like Trubisky, but for everyone Trubisky, there are probably dozens of top recruit guys that sat behind other top guys for 4 or 5 years, then sold insurance. He was a sophomore and was 50/50 with Hackenberg and they went his way and Hack was good as a freshman. He would have never saw the field.

Why not transfer and try to find somewhere to play and maybe have a shot at a pro career?

 

I'm aware nor did I say they have a bigger impact I simply said it's a component of creating a roster
