Also anyone who watched Taylor, anyone else see minimal balance when he is on the move? Dude falls all over the place.

Haven't watched any video to know what you're talking about, but he sounds more and more like the EXACT replacement of Wright.

I know people are down on Wright and I kinda get it, but he averaged 72 catches a year his first 3 years. I'd be happy to get that out of Taylor.

A- only because I was hoping for a more defensive draft.

Corey Davis/Rishard/Taywan Taylor for Mariota is going to be HUGE. If they can build a rapport quickly our offense is going to go to the next level. We were dying for a #1 receiver and a speed receiver, got them both. very exciting.

Also a lot of the draft profiles for Jonnu say he compares closest to Delanie Walker. can't argue with a delanie clone that can learn from him for a few years.

I kind of thought Jrob would go after Adoree and I saw quite a few scouting reports where he was the #2 CB so I'm okay with this is well.

everyone after this I don't really recognize. but that one OT we took is like 6'8" 330lbs. those big packages we run are about to get a little bigger.

I also was hoping to see more defense. I like Jackson and Brown but Brown is already gonna have expectations thrown at him that maybe a 5th rounder doesn't usually have. We needed a LB, got one, just not top of the list. Was kind of hoping for another CB too. I hope Sims is up to it.

To be clear, I'm ok with this, but just a concern still for the upcoming year.

I saw that watching the highlights. He seems to trip and stumble after the catch a lot.

    I went with A-.

When I sit back and look at the players we drafted, I'm very happy. I personally think we may have reached a bit on some later round guys, but wtf do I know. I really wanted Jamal Adams, OJ @ 18 would of been fun. that changes the rest of our draft though.

At this point you're just grading potential.

I'll go with B+ for now.

The level of speed on this team just went up considerably.

Four days ago, you have a race with the whole roster, Marcus mariota wins going away (a healthy one I mean.)

Today, that is no longer the case. He'd have a fight just to medal.

Davis is a bit of a wildcard to me, as we couldn't see him work out. I really want to get him and mariota on a practice field working on timing and routes asafp. I think at the worst we got a solid technician. I kind of hope he can become a Marvin Harrison type. Doesn't really blow you away physically, but just beats you with routes and techniques, all day long.

Jackson will need lots of work. There will be horrible mistakes. There will be amazing plays. I think the guy will work his butt off and get better though. And down the road he can be a true lockdown #1 corner. And a great return game with this offense? Look out.

I like Taylor. Possible upgrade over sharpe. At least the two will push each other for that #3 spot. I would try him at return duties too.

Smith I don't see playing much right away. His blocking needs tons of work. But hopefully takes over at te2 sooner than later and replaces dw one day. I love the thought of Delanoe getting a chance to mentor the kid up.

Otherwise, we got some interesting projects. A man mountain of a tackle. An interior depth piece. A linebacker who can cover. Pass rush depth.

I'm interested in the running back. I'd try him at return duties at first. If he can do it nearly as well as Jackson, let him do it. Be the change of pace back. give him 2-3 touches a game and see what happens.

All in all, I love the new offense, and think the defense will be all right. I just hope our coaching staff is up to assimilating all these parts and building a Ferrari out of it.

And I love the culture and competition we are building. Three or four jrob drafts down the road and we will be sitting pretty.

Yeah, my thought as well. This draft was LOADED with secondary talent and was a bit bummed that we only ended up with one player in the secondary. But I do like what I'm hearing about a lot of the guys we got.

It's the planet theory, or basically there are only so many people on the planet that have outstanding size and athletic ability and you want as many of them on your team as you can get.
