can we be realistic? Getting a Tyreek Hill in the 7th round is a pipe dream.

 

Yeah because it's unrealistic to think contributors can only come in rounds 1-5

 

players are drafted in the 6-7th rounds for a reason. everyone you draft is expected to contribute, thats why you draft them. But to expect a 7th rounder to be a threat to score every time he touches the ball like Tyreek Hill is pure fantasy.

 

Tell that to Antonio Brown...

Maybe I should have clarified, I meant more in contributing in the run, pass and return game like Hill.
Hill's college stats weren't impressive by any means and I doubt anyone figured he would contribute the way he has, being a 5th rounder and all.

Maybe he'll be our D'Anthony Thomas for Mariota...is that better?

 

I understand where you are coming from, and i agree whole heartedly, but to his credit, Tyreek Hill was a stud at Ok St, who only fell because of domestic violence issues.

 

My impression is Mularkey expects him to be our KO returner and Jackson to be our PR. Makes sense, as he is more explosive than elusive, which Ya want for KOS... At 5'7", he could be tough to find behind pulling linemen on screen plays...

 

Sounds like a Titans kinda guy; he does his assignments, which for a RB often includes blocking...
